3 sounds about right. Then how long before Bowles admits he was an idiot for starting Fitz? I'd give it a "Still gives us the best chance" after the game where we lose by 3-4 scores and Fitz continues to be the worst QB to start a game this year.
Coaching is the reason this team lost. Why did they stop pressuring Brady? Sent from my SM-N930V using Tapatalk
Zero pressure, dropping extra guys into coverage, yet somehow still gives their receivers huge cushions or leaves them wide open. Bowles has no answers, and makes the same predictable, gutless mistakes week after week. Fire the CS, start the rebuild. Oh well, maybe we'll be good in another 5 years or so, though I'm starting to worry that we might need to bottom out like the Browns before anyone figures out we need to burn it to the ground.
I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I actually let myself think we had a chance to win. Lucy jerked the football out again, just as I was about to kick it.
I expected us to win just because it would be the most Jetsy thing that could happen - beat the Pats, get some false hope, almost make the playoffs, fall short and end up picking about 13 in the draft - seen it all before too many times.
Hey! I stand corrected about this team being non-competitive today. They really took it to the Pats about 3+ quarters. I mean that's above and beyond what we could ask for from the 2016 Jets. The thing is, that adjustment of not keeping the same ferocious pass rush on Brady in the 2nd half? Well there you have it. Another loss.
Give me a break. Pats are a good offense and they get the ball out quick. TB dialed up many blitzes on the last drive.
They didnt movee the ball until the Jets stopped pressing Brady. Plain and simple. Brady when rushed is a very inaccurate QB. You dont get a break, go study. Sent from my SM-N930V using Tapatalk
TB didnt dial up shit...that whole defense folded in the last 5 minutes and the offense did little. How nice were those typical playcalling in redzone
At what point do we put the onus on the players to preform and not blame the coaches? Bowles should be fired tomorrow. But not because of this game. I think he was solid this game, which is like a 100000000000X better than he usually is as coach. I just feel like too many times do we see a bad result and immediately skip to the coaches. This defense had every opportunity to win the game and were playing alright until that last TD drive. Then they just collapsed like a cheap lawn chair.
