Not sure who was given the Buffalo Oakland game yesterday but the Raider offense was very impressive after adjusting in the second half. The offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave called a great game and has had a lot to do with the Carr progression, getting all their is to get from Crabtree. He should definitely be looked at if we get a chance to get a new HC. I guess I have to take into consideration he was going up against Rex and his brother, typical Rex letting the Raiders score with a dep zone defense with a 24-9 lead, he must have forgotten it was the Third quarter with 12 minutes to go.
I was impressed with the Raiders yesterday too. It was almost a tale of two games as adjustments were made that absolutely had Rex and Rob wondering WTF just happened to them. If those adjustments were on Musgrave, then he certainly is HC material perhaps with another year's seasoning. If the Raiders repeat in '17, Musgrave will be on the radar for sure..
Who did we draft that year instead of possibly trading down and grabbing Carr? Was it Pryor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We could have traded down [1], grabbed Carr [2] then grabbed Jordan Matthews [3] AND either Jarvis Landry [4] or Davante Adams [5]. All in the first two rounds. John. Die in a fire.
Yeah, but if Carr was drafted, he likely would still be on the bench. As Geno or Fitz "gives us the best chance to win".
If the Raiders repeat in '17, the Jets would have zero chance of signing him. He would probably be able to write his own ticket to multiple teams.
Yeah we passed on Teddy and then Carr. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_NFL_Draft What boggles my mind is the fucking Browns passed on Carr one pick prior. What a shit show
Before we go too deep with speculation about the Pryor pick, we have to resolve the issue of why we took him instead of Ha Ha Clinton Dix
every GM can look back and do that. matthews and adams aren't even that good. landry is a beast though and carr looks like a franchise QB. were looking good at WR anyway. the only thing we missed out on was carr. but so did about 20 other teams that needed QBs
