It's great that Anderson finally paid him, but he only did so because of public pressure and likely the fear of the organization finding out about it - but I bet that's already too late and that they already have.

We are seeing more and more why this kid was a UDFA and why he likely will wind up being nothing more than a flash in the pan rather than having a long, successful career.

I think that's one of the reasons why the Pryor signing was critical. Until then, RA had a lot of leverage when it came to disciplinary action. The Jets really couldn't do much because up until Pryor, RA was not replaceable. Depending on how Pryor works out, that isn't the case anymore.

Not only that, lets say Pryor doesn't work out. RA has to know the Jets are preparing for life after he's gone. Now whether that's this year with Pryor or 2019 with over $100mil in cap space.

One more fck up and RA will have put himself on the short list. Unfortunately, every time he fcks up, his value goes down in any trade.

Robbie is a good player, but not worth the trouble. I guess it’s worth keeping him around until he hits free agency.

Robby will be on this roster until the Jets FO feels he's expendable. We have to see how Pryor & Enunwa are, and how far Stewart and Hanson have progressed. I liked what I saw out of Hanson last season, Stewart seemed to be less trusted, but seemed to have more big play ability.

If Pryor/Enunwa step up this offseason/early on in the Regular Season, and things go sour or we aren't looking like a playoff team, I could see the Jets dealing Anderson mid-way the 2018 season to someone in contention.

Matt, if they had any other viable option as a deep threat, I think the kid would have been disciplined much more harshly. As it was, RA had all the leverage.

That scenario only works IF RA can stay out of trouble during the season. His issues seem to be when he has too much time on his hands. He's just not mature enough to handle the money and the fame yet.

What's that old saying: " You can take the kid outta the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the kid.." Seems that's a story that keeps repeating itself over and over these days..

and by the time he does, it might be too late to save his NFL career here in NY anyway.

I think if Pryor returns to 2016 form, Robby can kiss NY goodbye this offseason. Unless the Giants want him... they seem to have a thing for dopey receivers that can't seem to get their heads out of their asses.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going to come of him.

Still waiting for him to be handed down a suspension by the league. I'm sure it'll come between now and August.

Maybe that will wake him up, but I doubt it.

Cman in all fairness Robbie Anderson would probably still be an ass clown even if he did not have money and was not famous.Just my opinion

No argument here C. Just saying that if RA didn't have the fame and fortune and played for the Jets, we really wouldn't care. He's either gonna grow out of it, or bounce around the league until people just get tired of his act which ever comes first.

Ask Robby Anderson. I'm sure he'll give you a far more intelligble answer. I'm unclear what about that post you didn't understand. How about this. It should be written into athlete's contracts if you say something self-damaging, you have a three month ban from social media. These idiots aren't doing themselves any favors. Remember what Rashard Mendenhall said about Osama Bin Laden getting drilled in the head and people were rejoicing in NYC that that POS got his? "What kind of person celebrates death? It's amazing how people can HATE a man they've never even heard speak. We've only heard one side . . . We'll never know what really happened. I just have hard time believing a plane could take down a skyscraper demolition style. Those who judge others will also be judged themselves. I believe in one God. I believe we are ALL his children. And I believe HE is the ONE and ONLY judge. Those who judge others will also be judged themselves. For those of you who want to see Bin Laden burn in hell and piss on his ashes, I ask how God would feel about your heart. There is not an ignorant bone in my body, I just encourage you to think. "

OK, at least he writes in highly comprehensible sentences, but tell that half-cocked nonsense to the people who jumped to their deaths out of the Twin Towers. Don't misunderstand. I'm not calling for censorship of ANY kind in ANY way, everyone is entitled to their opinion every which way but loose. I am First Amendment all the way (probably ridiculously so), but damn, tell me when an athlete DOESN'T shoot himself in the face on social media. See Laremy Tunsil. Sometimes you just have to protect children from themselves.

he's a headcase for sure, but he's cheap and talented. the coaching staff needs to get on his ass though. this is the issue of not having a "veteran WR" to mentor him. I'm hoping McCown reels this kid in
