Jets receiver Quincy Enunwa will miss one to two weeks with a thumb injury, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.

Coach Todd Bowles told reporters Enunwa has a “sore” hand after the receiver missed his second consecutive practice.

Enunwa sported a wrap around his right hand at practice, per Mehta.

Seems more precautionary than actual level of injury, speculation of course. It is a shame he was red-shirt for the first few days of camp and now this. I know everything is always glowing in camp but it did seem even from the more critical eye observers that Q looked like he showed zero rust and was right back to form.

I'm not all that concerned with this one. As Bowles stated. Just a training camp injury. I don't think it'll have an effect on once he returns and as another poster mentioned (Revis.Human) he wasn't rusty thus far and was right back into the thick of things.

We just need Q 100% healthy by opening night.

hopefully a bone injury and not a ligament tear. the last thing this team needs is their most sure handed receiver dropping passes because of a hand injury.

love this guy but some players are just constantly nicked up,,,,,he appears to be one of them. I Hate seeing him miss time after being out so long,,,,,I don't care what they are saying publicly I hope it is not more serious then they are lettering on

i don't see him that way. he played one of the most physical positions on the field for years and was healthy until the neck thing. now he injured his hand. that does not make him constantly nicked up. he's one of the toughest players we have.

Charlie maybe I'm looking at it wrong but the guy has only been in the league for 3 years,,,he missed all of last year,,,,,and to be honest I think a bulging disc makes him a hit away or a huge risk to be relied upon and now he has this hand.If I remember correctly he got at least one concussion in either 2015 or 16 I'm not sure and I know he had a bum knee for a while,,,,,not sure if he had a shoulder ? Maybe he's not always nicked up but seems that way to me and again scary injury the bulging disc and anything with the neck.Lets see what happens with this 2 week hand of his

you are reading into one injury and I understand. when i heard bulging disk all i cared about was that it was a spinal injury. i thought he was done. now that he is back from that one injury, a hand injury doesn't seem like a big deal to me. i wish he was healthy right now but i'm not calling him injury prone. we don't even know what the hand injury is.
