i guess rushing for 2 td's and a 105 yards is the equivalent to being a high draft pick sitting on the bench for a NFC team. at least he got the first name right. I lost intrest in prime time when they stopped showing it on sunday nights, now they show the blitz which is horrendous. I also think jacked up! is really stupid as well.
Yeah I agree, I'm not a big fan of nfl primetime anymore. But I absolutely love NFL Gameday on NFL Network. When they say that they are the best highlight show on television, they are right. EVERY game, and each game gets a bunch of plays for highlights, not just a handful like primetime.
I swear Ditka also called our coach, "Eric Tangini" I might be crazy, but someone with Tivo check it out.
Primetime used to be one of the best shows on TV before the new TV deal with Sunday Nights and NBC. The blitz isn't a bad substitute its just that they only show a few games and sitting through sportscenter isnt worth it. But the new Primetime is just a highlight show to me.
I second the vote for NFL Gameday on the NFL network. I'm actually amazed at how quickly they've put together great shows with decent personnel. Total Access, Gameday, and NFL Replay are all terrific.
I heard it also, they are too concerned with their stand up act. I feel they ignored the Jets because Brett Favre and the Packers took a beating and they dont want to harp on a legend at the end of his career.
Gameday on NFL Network is by far the best, but Deion Sanders is a mess...did you guys notice how he bit Chris Berman's "my sharonna" joke for Titans kicker Rob Bironas? Last week he said Bironas' name to the tune of "my sharonna" after Bironas kicked the FG to kill the Giants. Then yesterday, on Gameday when showing highlights of Bironas' 60 yard FG to beat Indy, Deion sings the "my sharonna" melody, and then says Rob Bironas' name to the tune of the melody...and then goes as far to say "remember that song fellas?" Hhahaha...I'd bet that Deion has never heard that song, and simply watched Berman's NFL Blitz segment. WEAK. With that said though, best highlight show by far...save for the quick little Blitz segment with Berman and Jackson...giving us a 5 minute bite of nostalgia. Why don't they just do Primetime since there's still a Primetime???
Sometimes??? The guy is a total f'n tool and has no business being in such a high profile position. In fact, he's not even qualified to flip burgers. I mean I know Houston and Cotchery aren't superstars, but do your damn homework and get the names right. It's not like he's getting paid minimum wage to sit on his ass, watch football, and describe the highlights to a camera. What a mother-f'n jackass.
