    Michael Irvin just told
    @JoeandEvan
that Robby Anderson called him crying when he signed with the Panthers because he wanted things to work out with the Jets

Seriously what a shame we let this man walk. I'm happy to see him doing good though. He's currently 7th in the NFL in receiving yards despite have the least amount of targets in the top 8. He's tied for 7th in receptions with 28, 16 for 1st downs despite again less targets then anyone else in the top 8

What a shame, we need this type of passion in the room!

He's probably counting his blessings now.

I cried when he caught 9 passes in 5 games in the middle of the season last year

Robby is a nice player. Has some nice streaks. And having him back would solidified things WR wise...I just don't see his presence changing our 0-4 standing.

Past 4 years WITH Robby...all we did was lose

Lot of fans here talked shit about Robby because his poor grammar on Twitter and how he talks but the Jets really believed in him and stuck through with him when he was going through the tough times entering the league. He really wanted to stay. I’m glad he’s flourishing.

At least the Jets drafted one WR during 2020 draft to replace Robbie, who true to Jet draft pick form, has yet to take the field.

Michael Irvin is so full of shit. It’s spin city with him. I wouldn’t listen to much of what he says. Even if Robby was upset it could very well have been about money. Irvin is just saying it for a story.

    Fn BABY!!!

Jk. I really liked R and hoped JD would match & sign the kid. He was 'Jets Grown'. UDFA Mac brought in. I wish he spent his career HERE as a good news story. God knows we need some good news stories around here.

All that said we're still waiting for Perriman and Mims to take the field. Who knows. A year from now we may be praising JD. Robbie who???

On 1 Jet Drive last season Robbie struck me as a gangsta wanna be revving his Fararri on a UDFA salary. Sadly he reminds me of a pro player who had it all only 2b broke and homeless 5 yrs after his playing days are over.

But i wish him luck. I wish his story was a Jets 4 Life story.

    Not meant 2b I guess.....

And all this time, i thought he didn’t wanna stay here. Of course, he could have just taken the Jets offer, if he loved it here so much.

The Jets should teach a master class in ruining quarterbacks. It certainly makes more sense when you look at it that than believing they’re trying to be good and win.

Would have been great to keep Robbie at home. But, let’s face it, it would have been bad for his career. These Jets aren’t going anywhere for the next few years. Robbie deserves at least a chance at reaching his potential with a team that has a shot.

    You're breaking my heart man.

Of course, Robby would have been shit this year at the Jets because of Gase.

I hope Robby continues to do well. He never really took the next step here but he’s obviously in a better situation now.

That and the OC coaches seemingly unwilling to either let him run some kind of route tree other than the 100m sprint.

Seems to be catching all sorts of stuff this season, short and long.

I've watched him from afar this year, seen his stats flash across the bottom and it seems like he's put up close to damn near 100 yds in every game this season. Good for Robby. He's backing it up.

I take his tweets as a challenge to try and figure out wtf he's trying to say.
