who would you guys say has the best/coolest uniforms in the NFL? My vote would be for two teams....the Bears (the home uniforms with dark navy jersey) and the Bengals (I like all of their uniform combinations basically).
Bengals are complete ass and have been for thirty years. Colts still look sharp, except when they do blue over blue.
Chargers, Steelers, Raiders, Colts, Bills, Chiefs, Browns, Packers, Bears, 49ers, Cowboys, Saints, Vikings, and I have a guilty pleasure for the Seahawks. The Jets also used to have really nice uniforms before they ruined them last year.
One of my uniform-related pet peeves are the lame all-black alt. uniforms just about every team (high school, college, pro) seems to have now. IF Black is one of your primary colors (like with the Bengals) then an all black uniform with a secondary color can look really sharp. I just hate it when teams that do NOT have black as one of their two primary colors do the whole "all black" uniform. it makes zero sense and looks ugly and is lame and contrived.
my rules: -Rule 1: If your jerseys look sleek and fast on recievers then they are gonna look like ass on the linemen. That eliminates like half the league right there. -Rule 2: --I agree, if black is used and its not a primary color then thats trash too. eliminates several other teams. I think the Raiders and the Cowboys have the 2 best left in the league. As much as it pains me to say that because I don't like them. The Jets were up there with them until they went and broke both my rules
BrowningNagle, what about the Bears uniforms, specifically their home uniforms? They look classic, don't you think? Dark almost black-ish Navy with a vibrant strong orange and white. Classic combo.
Points for bringing up the Oilers uniforms! I always thought their uniforms AND logo were awesome! I am still pissed that Adams moved them to TN and that he wouldn't even consider selling the rights to the old name to McNair when Houston was granted an expansion franchise. I think the NFL should have done for Houston what it did for Cleveland. Let the city keep the history logo and team name. I miss the old oil derrick on the side of the helmet, and the color scheme of powder blue, red and white really worked nicely AND was unique!
