dude played with mahomes last year and still wasn't good. they let him walk despite having a crap WR core and 4 mil was the most a team was willing to pay him. less then berrios is making. he signed on being a WR4 to start (GW, lazard, CD) and lost his job to an UDFA rookie. moore isn't looking hot in cleveland either. It seems like a hardman issue to me
The Vikings put JJ on IR, I still think we make a play for Kirk. The plan was for ZW to sit and learn and imo that shouldn’t change…. Siemien was already traded to the Vikings once before…
Andy Reid has no problem trading anyone that wants too much money. See Hill. All m saying he still has plenty to offer on certain plays, as he did with KC. That’s coaching.
I read the Falcons somewhere but I can’t remember if it was verified and legitimate. I don’t think the Jets can officially trade their first or second round pick even though it’s obvious Rodgers won’t fulfil the first round requirement. Might be wrong. Short term Kirk would be a lot of fun but I don’t think it’s really a good long term move given what we’d likely have to give up for a rental. They can get more from a team like the Titans, Falcons, etc. than I’d want the Jets to give up.
I believe our 1st and 2nd are on lock but assume JD is trying to collect enough capital with some trades to make an offer on KC. I don’t really see a market for Kirk. He’s a one year rental who’s proven he’s not the one to lead a team to the SB. ATL makes sense but IDK if the Falcons have given up on the kid they drafted last year (and has never lost a home game) and the Titans just took Levis and idk if Kirk is enough of an upgrade on Tannehill to disrupt the team.
Yeah there might not be a big market for him. The Titans don’t really ever try to upgrade the QB position or spend money but he’s far better than Tannehill right now. He’s shot and has looked awful this year.
