The AFC used to be the toughest Conference in the NFL.

I’m astonished Justin Fields isn’t on that list.

That list is ugly though. Geno Smith as a top 10 NFL QB? Sam Darnold ranked 26th behind multiple guys that havent even played

AFC has 2 of the top 5 head coaches?

You're telling me the pathetic NFC only has 3 of the top 5?

    I demand justice!

Favre, Aikman and Steve Young were the clear cut Top 3 for years, but I'm not sure if the consensus fourth best was in the NFC any of those years.

This is just somebody's made up list. Usually PFF uses their mostly bogus formula to rank them, which is a little better for QB than other positions, and this doesn't even use that. According to last years stats, the actual top 5 according to QBR and EPA are:

    Jackson - 77.3 QBR, 107.9 EPA
    Allen - 77.3 QBR, 101 EPA
    Burrow - 74.7 QBR, 122 EPA
    Danials - 70.6 QBR, 90.4 EPA
    Love - 69.3 QBR, 58.0 EPA

Mahomes finished 8th, Hurts 10th, Darnold 14th, and Rodgers finished 25th. Fields didn't have enough throws to qualify but his stats were 50.8 / 93.3, which would have ranked him 24th (running isn't accounted for).

(EPA factors all plays and adjusts according to rank of defense, and the QBR is the usual rating we use with no adjustment for defensive strength.)

Lol. My bad English. What I meant was even though Broncos and Chargers don't have top 5 QB's, their Head Coaches are still Superbowl winning elite coaches. :)

QBR isn't passer rating; it's ESPN's weird quarterback stat.

I’m excited for this season to see how things will change with fields and the new coaching staff

I’m trying to visualize fields, reaching his potential and becoming a top 12 quarterback?

Or does that sound like a reach guys?
