Jets can only look competent for 1 drive, don't panic we'll get some garbage points in the 4th make it look box score friendly

I'm busy putting up my Sukkah today, but checking in once and a while. Same old Jets.

    It's worse than that, actually.

The Same Old Jets would be up by 2 scores on the 2025 Jets.

The only bright spor I saw in that first half is the offense using multiple WR sets and Fields at times at least trying to throw the ball to other wide receivers.

Whether or not we have a QB in the building that can run it well enough remains to be seen.

BUT to me offers a glimmer of hope.

I hope they stick with that because if they can run it or sort of establish it that is the type of building block we need.

This might be a David Cullen-Texans situation. Glenn came here, tanked the season for us to get a top pick and QB. Shake his hand and move on. The effort is disgusting and that usually means the locker room doesn’t respect the head coach.

Valid point. But you have to do SOMETHING. Bench Fields. Bench Hall. Do SOMETHING

Stunning how bad the Jets look...

Really makes me wonder if Glenn has lost the locker room.

Such a Jets stat with those sacks...:

Fields has 74 passing yards in the first half...
... But the Jets have only 43(!!) passing yards

Literally not too far away from having as many yards lost on sacks as gained in the air. SMH

The argument could be made that we've already passed that point at 4.5 games.

Yeah but this defense is abominable.

Neither Fields or Hall play on that side of the ball.

Just unbelievable what happened at the end of the first half. I'm still in disbelief.

Not an NFL franchise in any way. The only thing we do at an NFL level is get penalized. This is the worst Jets team I’ve ever seen and I was alive for Kotite. You have to consider wiping the entire thing clean which pains me to say because I absolutely loved Glenn as a kid but there’s no way this is all a product of also having the worst roster in the NFL.

Panthers, Browns, Saints plus they will show well against at least one decent team this year. Unfortunately we likely have too much talent to go 0-17 ( which also aligns with my I-hate-tanking narrative)

I disagree. The 2018-2020 teams were way more devoid of talent on both sides of the ball, and even they weren't this bad. Yeah, we're lacking a LOT of talent, but Quinnen, Quincy, Wilson, Sauce, and Hall are all pretty top notch talents, as we've seen multiple times what they're capable of, and yet none of them, except maybe Wilson, looks like they belong on anything except a practice squad this year. This is all on coaching. Not even a lack of talent should excuse this level of incompetence.

    Here's the good news...

We dominated time of possession.

    Fields has no business starting.

He's not the best QB on the roster Tyrod is.

Coach Glenn gifted him the job. He didn't earn the job by winning it.

He should be benched enough already.
