The federal government was shut down for a month and the FAA was woefully understaffed to begin with. Just be happy planes aren’t falling out of the sky on an hourly basis.
I always use Newark. But Turkish Airlines flight out of Newark is at 1:05 am. Had to land Istanbul early so took Turkish Airlines 8:00 pm flight out of JFK.
Not the service issue D. Infrastructure is terrible. JFK Terminal 1 is worse than Erbil Airport in Iraq.
