I wouldn't participate in things like that ... not that there is anything wrong with it. Take it easy, I am just joking around. If we do not laugh, we'll cry rooting for this team.
Yep. Back home as of December 13th. Been to total 3 Colts home game between last season and this season. I will root for their success going forward. Met great people at work and in the neighborhood. But happy to be back at Jets land.
I always vote for the Jets to win. Never give in. Never, never, never, never in nothing, great or small Large or petty Never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Winston Churchill 1941
Wait, is that conviction or insanity? You, sir, must come lay down on my leather couch... J/K...more power to you! I wish I had your positivity these days. Keep it up!
If the Patriots were to lose this game to these Jets it'd be one of the funniest things ever and would expose them as total frauds.
I would've wanted to go to this game but why bother? Tickets aren't as cheap as I thought they'd be for this one then there is the time it's a all day thing. For what? The Jets shut down Garrett, Mason won't play? It's clear they're not trying to compete. Chances are good they'll get blown out this week (and next). I can't even get excited about what should be a exciting late season divisional game chance to play spoiler.
This team needs to start doing well. I've been gradually loosing enjoyment for the sport. It is devastating to always be out of any form of contention by the end of September. There are a couple teams in the league who simply need to be forced to find new ownership. That ownership needs to be vetted so that there's some level of competent guidance. Enough with any ole' shitty billionaire being able to buy a "toy" at the expense of millions of people who've followed teams for generations. The college game is utter dog shit. All I have is the pro's.
I’m with you 100%. The NFL just isn’t the same anymore. All the fields look the same. Ridiculous officiating. Injuries are all too common now. Silly kickoff rules. Hell look at the field goals. They switch the ball out now…at some point in the not too distant future a team will start a drive on their own 35 - not get a single first down and still nail a FG. It’s just crazy …. I find myself watching games on utube from the 1980s when it was more enjoyable … And the NCAA is starting to follow suit.
It isn't that different in soccer now - all adopt the same kind of tactics and approach - you have more cup competitions and the threat of relegation but overall it isn't what it was - VAR and refereeing decisions seem to decide so many games - I honestly think there is too much money involved (especially around gambling) for there to be the same level of "fun" that there used to be in any major sports.
Patsies carrying a lot of injuries into this game. 5 starters out and their big guys not returning from IR. I wonder if they are not taking this game seriously and if there's an opening here... (wishful thinking I guess)
There is a difference between being a loyal fan, as I am, and being realistic. They suck, it is inconcievable to me that they have actually gotten worse from the 1st game but they have!!!!.
