Good reply - you covered a lot of bases. What you did not cover at all was not about the Nania piece but going back another time to old news to repeat again your stance that now is the time to move on from Glenn - I have not seen a single report from a real reporter or NFL insider who believes that is in the cards. Is there anything at all that has transpired over the past year that indicates Glenn's marching orders were to get the job done in one season? Fields, Gardner, Williams are huge indicators his window of opportunity is much longer. I would also note that you have apparently included me in a group of "you people who WANT him to stay." That's not something I have said in making predictions about his future. As far as "good luck with that," see above.
If he doesn’t get canned he must of made a deal with the front office when the sauce and Williams trade went down. Thats the only explanation for keeping his ass

As I was watching last night's game I saw the Seahawks young head coach. A few weeks back I saw the Saints young head coach when the Jets played them. I couldn't help but think how illogical it is what the Jets are doing with this head coach. He's a OLD, rookie head coach who came here has completely destroyed the roster that was in place here. The Jets are in total rebuild mode we need a QB, it's likely they let Breece walk away so that's another hole, they need wide receivers even if they hold on to Garrett (which I'm questioning) they need WRs, the defense is in shambles. For the sake of argument let's say coach A.G. is able to do it get this team back to competing at a extremely high level for a division title, deep runs in the playoffs what's his age going to be by the time that happens? It's a shame what the Jets did so poorly thought out. Like a root canal without using any anasthetic.
With Glenn staying which seems inevitable unfortunately, especially after the morning football show basically said that there is a zero percent chance he gets fired this morning and that he has the backing of the owner (which means Woody is a cheap POS that only cares about his soccer team). Now we need to focus on who we can hire at assistant HC or OC that can groom the rookie QB and take over when Glenn inevitably gets fired after week 6. Daboll comes to mind, would love Stefanski but he will probably get a head coach gig, any other guys out there in the ether that can potentially work with a young QB as well as take over as interim?
This does not look good. But let's wait one more day. Woody can change his mind at the spur of the moment. Hopefully that moment will come when Bills back-up embarrass Glenn again. Granted the probability of the firing is close to 0 since Woody is just too dumb, but we don't have long to wait before we know for sure.
It's way worse than that I am afraid. Yes, he is doing a root canal without anesthetic ... on a wrong tooth. Until we get another doctor I am afraid pain and suffering will continue.
Look how the Cowboys & Giants are competing today. Two teams with 'nothing' to play for. Professionals. Good game so far. Those fans in attendance are getting their money's worth so far. I'm interested to see how the Jets show up today especially if Buffalo decides to rest some of their starters.
Jets haven't played with pride since Thanksgiving if at all, these players don't gaf about this team anymore, just counting the days till they can get cut or traded.
we played 1000 times harder last season, it has nothing to do with the roster, no Skateboo, Nabers etc. It's fucking coaching, the team has completely given up on this regime.
Well, they're kicking the shit out of the Boyz atm. Got the boyz to lose their composure and one guy has been ejected. The Giants might want to think long and hard about replacing thier temp HC. This team is playing their hearts out for the HC and Staff.
They are, that's why. Do a side by side of the roster, either week 1 or who's available this week. The Giants have more talent. There's 3-4 Glenn haters so devoted to their craft (hating) they just say false crap then tell you to watch all 22 tape. Also no doubt if the Jets start winning later, they will bitch and blame Glenn for that too. No win situation.
That's not why, cmon man. Difference between playing their asses off and getting blown out by breaking NFL records in blowouts isn't just the side by side roster, that's silly. If you truly see it that way then again there is no point in debating with you.
Define "real" reporter, please. Unless there's some report "leaked" that Johnson is firing Glenn it's all bullshit. Wouldn't matter if you said it, I said or Adam Schefter said it. I've seen MULITIPLE reports that Glenn is on the hotseat as recently as yesterday on the NFL's official site. So you need to bring it down a notch. As I've stated over and over, ANYONE WITH 2 FUCKING EYEBALLS IN THEIR HEAD CAN SEE THIS GUY NEEDS TO BE FIRED!
There isn't any real viable reason he shouldn't be. A bunch of old addages and out dated thinking, I have yet to hear one real argument as to what he does well or why he should stay. I've come to the conclusion the few people left that want to argue he should stay have a completely different agenda.
