The Jets are shopping for a pass rusher. LOL. I mean most likely he will sign with Carolina and won't even visit, but Bargain Basement Joe is here in case Clowney wants to play in NY on the cheap.

Huff has a ring now, but didn't play b/c he was a healthy scratch in the Superbowl. Maybe the Jets should get him back and he can re-capture the magic he showed in NY. Then again, maybe it was Ulbrich's system that made him great or the great d-line that existed before JD destroyed it.

All of that is possible. But also Philly defense kicks ass. So, Huff not being used doesn't really mean he sucks. Sure, it is not the best move by Roseman, but maybe if someone did get hurt, Huff would come in handy. Not like us getting caught with pants down when JJ got injured after JD destroyed the DL. And wasting a 3d round pick on a washed up player who didn't want to play most of the season, showed up fat and sucked the rest of the year.

No, they tried to use him early in the season. Then they stopped after a while, I remember a reporter asking about it and Siriani’s answer was definitely a “read between the lines” statement. Huff doesn’t have a strong skillset and he was used in a manner here where our defense essentially put him in position to be the chosen mismatch of an offense.

Yup…Saleh knew how to get the best out of him…he was a good fit here in the scheme of what we do and would have been better to sign him instead of Reddick

Crazy how much this matters apparently. Not all players are as good as their skills might indicate.

This one is hard to explain. Maybe it is the new scheme or after getting a big contract he stopped being hungry? I have no idea. Perhaps it took more time to get adjusted? He did produce more towards the later part of the season after the injury, but by that point the Eagles tightened their rotation, which was the best in the NFL and he could not get playing time. He may do better this year. But he was good here, that is just a fact. Certainly better than Reddick and did not cost 3d round pick.

Unfortunately for Huff, he didn't understand that. He should have stayed with the Jets.

Wow! There sure are plenty of wise comments regarding Huff. Maybe some fans on here should acknowledge that they know very little about running an NFL franchise. Easy to second guess from the sidelines.

Look for Limited Edition Bryce Huff Class D fire extinguishers on clearance on Amazon in the near future.... "Guaranteed to take the fire out of your QB"

I like it. Better than most these guys spending all their money on hookers and drugs. A legit business idea

Also it’s a rare time when the Jets were prudent and didn’t spend all their money on the wrong guy.

Maybe they could tell football wasn’t his dream

He did okay for an UDFA, plus he played hard for the Jets. Good luck to him.
