He'd better be one of those guys who is very valuable in ways off the scoreboard, because his numbers sure don't justify giving up a first round pick. A bit of a panic move from Darche?

Really would like the team to not fall behind by multiple goals all the time.

Even though they fell behind (AGAIN) they did carry the play throughout most of the game. Thankfully they came back won 4-3 to get the two points. Now we get some home games. Friday vs the Kings, and Saturday vs the Flames. Four more points please. Let's Go Islanders.

Well, this time falling behind hurt them. The playoffs are very far from a sure thing at this point.

See? Scoring goals first can lead to good results! Take a lesson, boys.

Isles don't play tonight but some games to keep an eye on.

Bruins at Devils. Hopefully the Devils can win since the Bruins are right there with the Isles pointwise. Just in case the Isles fall out of the Metro's top 3 they can still get in as a WC.

Flames at Red Wings. A Flames win would be nice, but I am not counting on it. The Wings are another team the Isles are competing with for a WC.

Pens at Avs. Avs obviously. If the Pens get any points out of this then that will really suck. This should be a regulation loss for them.

Another must win tonight. The Pens won last night, and the Jackets are only two points back of the Isles. The Isles are rested since they haven't played since Saturday and the Maple Leafs will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights tonight. Have to keep an eye on the Canes at Jackets game. The Isles winning is the biggest thing but hopefully we can get some help from Carolina tonight.

Isles win to tie Pittsburgh (Pens having the game in hand), but Columbus wins to stay 2 points behind (with the game in hand). Barzal with three assists, and Schenn with his first goal as an Islander.

Huge win last night but it's frustrating that we get no help on the out-of-town scoreboard. The Isles have won something like 8 out of their last 11 and still no separation in the standings. Don't count on any help on Thursday night. The Isles play at Ottawa, and the Blue Jackets are home to the Rangers. It's crazy to think but the Isles could have around 100 points and still miss the playoffs. Let's Go Islanders. As for tonight we have the Penguins at Hurricanes. I hope the Canes can do us a favor, but I am not counting on it.
