    Latest on Moss RUMORS

These are rumors. Shefter says there is no way Moss leaves Oak. However these are the rumors circulating the net

    Raiders give up

    Randy Moss

    There 3rd round pick (2007)

The Raiders eat 2.8 million of Randy's contract.

    Moss agrees to restructure

    Pats give up

1 of the two first rounders

This is pure speculation. Before everyone claims in others threads these are facts, remember this is just a rumor from a supposed "credible source" The raiders third rounder is the number 1 third round pick. Which is basically a second round pick for the pats, since they pick in the bottom of the round anyway. This is along the lines of the Vilma trade. Def not going to happen.

If the Pats are going to dump one of their first round picks for Randy Moss, then bring it on! That's a great deal for the Jets and the rest of the NFL.

This is pure speculation and is not going to happen.

You realize this would be a great deal for the pats right? They are not just "dumping" a first round pick for Moss. They get the number (1) third round pick, Randy Moss, The raiders to eat 3 million of his contract, and the ability to restructure Moss's contract ( under there terms)

They let Dion branch go (who was holding out for way to much money) to Seattle. He did absolutly nothing for Seattle this year. They got a first round pick for him. Dion is making 37 million in Seattle. They get all the things I just listed above, for Dion Branch. They get him for less money, with the ability to not have to guarentee anything. With the wr talent pool in this draft that number 1 third rounder is just as good as a second rounder. The talent report has the wr's in the second and third round comparable to the late first round.

    Well said.

Like nyjunc said, Moss will want to play in NE, as he knows he has a legitimate shot at winning a Super Bowl Ring. He'll prove him self, and I can see him and Brady being a good 1-2 Punch.

I mean, if it happens, I don't think it's the end of the world, but I rather not see it happen.

Not so much washed up than a cancer... How is Mr. I take plays off if I don't get the ball enough gonna gel on a "team first" environment? He won't... I hope the Pats get him ... he'll tear apart the team chemistry... He's done dick against us in his career as well...
