They could have moved him last year if they really wanted to. The tug of war the last couple of seasons between Favre not wanting to go out on the downside of the ledger and the Packers not wanting to force him out has been very interesting to watch. I remember Namath and the Jets in the 70's and thinking even as a teenager how sad it was that he had been shipped out to LA in a deal that both he and the team wanted to happen. I like what's happened in Green Bay more and I'm guessing the average Packer fan will not remember Favre's struggles at the end in a decade or two, they'll just remember kind of a glowy career that had some great high points to it.
Not right now he's not. It would be ludicrous to trade such a beloved figure in Indianapolis especially since he is coming off a Super Bowl MVP and win.
Im going with Randy moss(Contract would be too much to swallow) J Vilma (his name out there may cause rummbleings and mabybe even talks-but he's needed here in NY) J abraham( Can you say out for 4-6 weeks) Brady manning LT are just rediculus these guys would never be involved in any type of trade no matter what reality you are liviong in.
I would say he is the least tradeable player in the league, but if the Patriots offered Tom Brady, Asante Samuel, both of this year's number ones and next year's number 1, the Colts would have to consider that deal (and in my opinion should take it). That is an extreme situation, but that is what it would take to get Manning.
