Breaking News on ESPN News Bottom Line I wonder if they worrying about Russel, or just figuring he will be a good backup.
 I didn't even realize that I completely spelled Raiders, Daunte, and Culpepper wrong. Sorry about that everyone. I'm sure you got the point though.
Russell seems to have a very simular playingstyle to Daunte, they probably signed him to be Russell?s mentor, as Vinny was for Chad. This way, they can set their System up for Russell without having him to step in right away, cuz what workes for Russell should also work for Daunte. If Moss would still be there, Raiderjoe would have gone Crazy! (even more than usual)
Well IF Culppeper does manage to start he has to be the favourite to be killed first. The Raiders O line makes our look like the untouchables.
'06 is over, it's 2007! They're not the '76 Raiders but they're better than they showed last year. I'd still hope Daunte's knee is better for his own sake!
Clean slate , sure. But the core of the Oline that coughed up how many sacks is still there. Yep , I don't like to see anyone going off on the golf cart , but feel Culpepper has had some bad advice here. Good luck to him and his dodgy knee
I have to point out that the core of the line (Sims, Gallery, Grove) were also there in '04 when they gave up 29 sacks with the statuesque Kerry Collins at QB. I'm not expecting that this year, but don't understimate coaching, scheme, and play-calling when evaluating an offensive line.
Raiders Core is the same from last year on Oline. Not even close. Only holdover from last year Oline, is R gallery.(looks to be starting LG now) The Oline looks like this LT B sims(started only a couple games as LG) , LG R gallery C Jerermy Newberry(if leg holds up a bigtime upgrade) RG Cooper Carlise RT- Probably only position that up for grabs. Mario Henderson( 3 rd Draft choice, Cornel Green and Paul MCquistan.
