You too. Hope Abe is everything you all hope he will be for your team. Wish you guys would have given up Schaub though.
i just dont understand this though, when did abraham start to suck. i mean, i watch every jets game and when he plays, hes good. i know most of u all are saying hes injury prone, but we really dont have room to talk considering none of us have insider information on his condition or health status. and if anyone does, well, i'll be damned.
Our D-Line consist of - ABE - Lavalias - Coleman - Kerney Our Linebackers are - D.Williams - Ed Hartwell - K. Brooking Our Secondary is D. Hall - Bryan Scott - Lawyer Milloy - J. Webster. This is a pretty descent defense if healthy!!!!!
Aren't you the guy who wanted to trade the Jets a third rounder and TJ Duckett?
The Jets end up looking awesome. The falcons got their man, but they had to give up their first round pick. All in all, I think this benefitted all three teams involved considering all their current situations. Jets get another "chip" to get Leinart, or they get an extra first round pick to draft some young talent (maybe Mangold). The Broncos get to move up a bunch of spots to draft a stud for their "on the verge" year. And the Falcons get their man and got some mid round picks back.
did u not just get who u wanted, thanks for rubbing it in that ur team is better than ours...we knew that already. and just so u know, ur NEVER going to win a superbowl with vick as ur QB, so start dreamin pall
The reason Schaub wasn't dealt was because the way Vick play, he could go down on any play and we need a quality back up.
Abe will play all 16 because he only doesn't play if his team is going to make the playoffs or is in the playoffs. With the Panthers, Bucs, Giants, Redskins, Cowboys, Seahawks, and Bears all better on then the Falcons then that may not be the situation.
I'm saying we're better than you guys but this "D" is better that what we had a year ago. Vick will get it togerther. Once he become a more accurate passer, he'll be very dangerous. Remember, he got another year in the wect coast offense and Knapp haven't installed all the plays yet. This year should be at least an 11 win season for us.
You people just don't get it. So we had to give up a first to get Abe, but the facts still remain, we have one of the top 5 DE's in the league and you all still have a quarterback with a water pistol for an arm. So what if you use the first to trade up to try to get Leinart, he'll be a bust and then you can praise you new "Regime" for your lack of success. Bottom line is we'll be in the playoffs and you all will be discussing how great the "Regime" is and what you'll have to do in the offseason to win more than 6 games.
Maturity from a Falcon fan. It's rare, it's grand, it's unpredictable....but someone got it done! Thanks my man, thanks...Best of luck to your Falcons.
Abraham is good, but he isn't, nor was he ever, one of the top 5 DE's in the league. Awful against the run, injury prone, and has a few games each year where he is totally invisible. He can be lethal, but not consistent enough to put him in the top 5, or even top 10. More like 10-15.
