Nice knowing you. We're likely going to lose more games than we win regardless of who the QB is. If you want Kellen to start, do so for the future of the team, not the current season. The WR part is a genuine concern if Chad keeps playing like he did yesterday.
Maybe the coaching staff will tell us how it really feels about Chad by the formations this week. If we see max protect packages with 2 TEs and a FB, we know they're committed to him. Otherwise, if both teams repeat their performances from last week, they're sending him out to the slaughter.
I'll say one thing. If hes still nursing that ankle and thats hurting his throws he needs to be on the sideline.
The only QB that could salvage this season for the Jets would be a 23 year old Dan Marino. And that only because the Jets have two fine receivers and he'd be releasing the ball in 1.7 seconds on average. By salvage I mean 9-7.
Stop trying to play it off, you'll still watch and if the lines come together this team can still win, even with Penny. Its proven that was PERFECT protection he is still solid...unfortunately that prolly wont ever happen so just throw Clemens in there..
I agree. Like I said before, I'm all for starting Chad if it was a one week occurrence. If he continues to play like that, or if there's a health reason why he played like that, he needs to be benched. He seemed to know his passing game was especially weak, and that's unfair and irresponsible to his teammates. Especially his receivers.

because I'm frustrated. Dude, since 69 i have been a fan and its always something. I am hard on Chad because he doesn't give us hope and that is all you can ask for. You know when we are down by a couple of TDs its over. And when I read all these Chad supporters it drives me nuts. Its true we have wholes on the defense and for sure Chad is not the only reason we suck. But QBs are the guys that are suppose to make it happen when other things aren't working. Yeah, Clemens might not be the answer but lets find out now? No? If not we move on and look for a replacement but enough is enough.
I've highlighted the parts relevant to my argument in post 2. And yes, I agree. If the CS is ready to move on, do it now. If they want to let Chad play a few more because they believe he can perform, do it. His leash is short, if it even exists anymore.
What pisses me off no end is how many "Browning Nagle" references we get everytime Chad's legendary arm strength comes up for review. I'm done pointing out such lousy Qb's as Farve, Marino, Elway, Kelly, Moon, etc's. It's almost as if they've been brainwashed into thinking only a Qb that couldn't throw a football through a cheescake has the right tools to win a SB.
There should be a cleansing of annoying, no-football-IQ jerkoffs like this guy. This site needs one. Some people can watch a game and understand the faults, others, like the one that created this thread, have no damn clue how to analyze the game and pick out the flaws. Here's a guy that probably would prefer Rex Grossman under centre because he has an arm. Please listen to the former NFL QBs on one of the many NFL analysis shows and listen to what they have to say about Chad. They know one hell of a lot more than the user who created this thread.

Former NFL analysts? Why don't you listen to what Jaws said about Clemens. He basically said that he was the BEST QB taken out of the draft. As for my anger toward Chad supporters its because your oblivious to what is going out on the field. IF you listened to the FAN to day even Mike F who is a Chad supporter stated that his arm was siginificant in the lose on Sunday. The problem with you Chad supporters is your happy with going 10 and 6 and making the playoffs. Well, I aint. I want my team to win the SB and it aint going to happen with Chad at the helm. And don't tell me I don't know about football. How long have you been a jet fan? my guess not too long otherwise you would be like most passionate Jet fans who want to win after years of loosing. And please don't bring up last year because our season schedule was a joke. If you don't have the horses you aint going to win the race.
