He's actually a pretty solid SSLB. He doesn't get much attention with Briggs and Urlacher as the other two LB's, but he's not bad at all. Actually, a pretty typical Mangini type of player, if I have any idea of what that is.....
Hillenmeyers a pretty solid LB, I'd take him for a 5th. He's pretty young too. I don't see the Bears trading him for that low of a price though.
Not such impressive stats, just 56 tackles last year. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6502
no they shouldnt.(period) no better than hobson he is as of now a backup player i dont think he has too much upside thats just me not very fast and not too big either
Arrington What about LaVar Arrington, he is a proven player plays hard not sure what price he would want but you know you are getting a tough player who is no affraid to hit.
could we afford him? i would think we woulda heard more talk about acquiring him if he was an option...
Arrington will be expensive, and too undisciplined for Mangini's defense. Belichick likes to find LBs and develop them himself, late round guys, and cheap free agent types. I'm sure Mangini will be similar.
