    BUH-BYE, BRIAN

Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports that the Baltimore Ravens have fired coach Brian Billick.

The move comes despite insistence from Billick that he'd return for a tenth season, and despite a report in the Baltimore Sun citing an unnamed source close to owner Steve Bisciotti that Billick would be back.

We never believed any of it. It was obvious that it was time for a change in Baltimore, and a change has indeed been made.

As the rumor goes, Bisciotti considered firing Billick after the 2005 season, but the owner decided that he couldn't do better with a devil he didn't know. Based on 2007, Bisciotti might have concluded that he can't do much worse.

    That's a shame.

I really enjoy watching the Ravens fail.

Easy firing after his team gave the Phins their lone win of the year. Couldent have happened to a more ''nicer guy'', especially with all his whining after our game this year.

That Pats meltdown prob hurt him too. But you can only live on a SB win for oh so long.............

I expect Cam Cameron to be ousted followed by Marvin Lewis.

And we have to hope the new coach who comes to Baltimore lets go of the D Coordinator Rex Ryan, because thats the much superior Ryan in the family.

I hope we can somehow get him here. If i'm the Ravens owner I want to keep him but if you bring in a new head coach you have to give them the chance to hire his own coaches.

Ozzie Newsome has already confirmed that Rex Ryan will be interviewed for the job.
