...by one writer and the rest went to Tom Brady.

This is no surprise.... As much as I hate NE, congrats to Tom, he deserves it... It's a wonder he hadn't won the award perviously...

I'm surprised Moss didn't get a single vote.

Agreed...Brady is and always has been what makes the offense tick but Moss is what makes this team special compared to past years. Without him they certainly wouldn't have remained undefeated, and Wes Welker should send a huge case of beer to Moss' house this off-season for all the single coverage from linebackers and safeties that Moss' presence has allowed for Welker.

    Agreed on all points....

It's no coincidence that Randy Moss was a part of the two highest scoring offenses in NFL history....

If there was one Patriots player I was discreetly rooting for this season, it was Moss, for the raw deal he got from the media after the Oakland debacle...

Because members of the media have a difficult time voting for a guy who has admitted to taking plays off. Plus they will all tell you somebody needs to throw him the ball and I don't think one of those 22TDS came from Guitierez or Casel.

Brady was the right guy but Favre certainly should have gotten more consideration. If the Pats win the SB this will go down as the single most dominant season by any American sports franchise in sometime.

As I have said for manyers Brady is the best QB of his generation and rapidly climbing up the charts on the all time list where eventually I may list him as the best QB of all time.

brady is well ahead of Manning, Peyton closed the gap a bit last year but Brady widened it this year.

Amen. I really don't see how the two can be compared. Tom Brady has done the same, if not more, with a lot less. Peyton Manning has pretty much always (not always, I said pretty much) had three great receivers and at the very least, a good offensive line.
