I really think somebody needs to give him a chance though. I don't care if it's the Jets or its the Dolphins! He broke his leg, but he's been trying really hard to get back in the NFL. Just letting you know.

Let him get back to the arena football league and prove he can hack it there. He had more than most get, one good chance to playing in the NFL and make big time money in the process. He failed big time at it.

Please... SIGN a RT though Free Agency... We have a chance of being GREAT up front!

Ok... We now have our O-Line looking pretty solid... With the addition of a strong RT like Woody or Olivea, this O-Line can actually go from one of the worst last season, to a top 5 O-Line this season. We have all the pieces in place for this O-Line to have ALOT of Sucess over the next 4+ Seasons.

Lets first talk about A.Faneca, a 7 time Pro Bowler who is solid in Pass PROTECTION and a flat out dominating Run BLOCKING animal. Not only does Faneca help upgrade the LG position in replace of W.Montgomery, but he also improves the two players alongside of the LG postion, the LT and the Center.

With the addition of A.Faneca, D'Brickishaw Ferguson now has the chance to prove to all of NY that drafting him 2 years ago with the 4th overall pick in the draft, was the best move the FO could have made at the time. He now has a chance to prove to his coaches, his fans, the media and most importantly... Probe to his-self that he can be this Jets Franchise LT for years to come. One great positive about Ferguson, is that he's ONLY 24 years of age, he's been in the league for two years and he is entering this season as a 3rd year starter! Thats amazing, the LT position is the HARDEST position for any player to play on the O-Line, its one of the hardest positions for any team to fill, other than the NT position in the 3-4, just the fact that Ferguson has been able to play all two seasons as a starter in this legue is simply amazing... Playing next to Faneca is going to give Ferguson the boost he needs in becoming one of the best LT's in the game today.

Nick Mangold has already showed the NFL what he has and what he has to offer as a starting Center in the NFL. he has the ability, the skill, the motor and the potential to be a top 5 center in this league for years to come. As a rookie 2 seasons ago, Mangold could have took home the ROY award if the O-Line was considered a "Sexy Postion" When we lost Kevin Mawae, I lost all hope for this Jets O-Line... When we drafted N.Mangold, I still had no hope for this O-Line... When I seen Mangold play in pads for the New York Jets, I then had hope for this O-Line... And that was with him playing next to P.Kendall as a rookie. Without P.Kendall last year, most of the O-Line was getting dominated, but Mangold showed to everyone that he has what it takes to be a top 5 center in the league, the man was one of our best players on Offense last year. Talk about a run game? Mangold and Faneca working together should be lights out this year for Thomas Jones through the left side of the O-Line. Yes I have a great feeling that Ferguson can become a Franchise LT type of player working with Faneca each and every day... But I feel Mangold is going to benefit the most from the signing of the 7 Time Pro Bowler in A.Faneca.

Great job Tangini, we now have a solid if not GREAT left side of the O-Line, now we just need to upgrade the RT position to have a top 5 O-Line.

Lets make this quick... Clement as our RT can no go any further than this offseason... He can end up ruining Kellens young career... We need Olivea or Woody, I believe Woody and Olivea are going to visit the Jets next week, I feel one of them will become a Jet. If we can sign a RT like a Woody or Olivea throgh free agency, wow... We will then have alot of options in the draft to actually draft play makers for the skilled positions. With the addition of either or... Just look at this O-Line.

    LT- D'Brickishaw Ferguson
    LG- A.Faneca
    C-- N.Mangold
    RG- Moore
    RT- Olivea/Woody

Talk about YOUTH, YOUTH, YOUTH and more youth with a veteran leader in Faneca, I would be in love as long as we keep healthy on the O-Line.

Will Damien Woody wouldn't be youth, but I get the idea. That seems to be where the Jets are headed. Adam Schefter says the Jets are going to make one more move on the offensive line.

I dont like Olivea. AJ Smith is supposed to be one of the top 2 or 3 talent evaluators in all of football. If were playing for playoffs in 08- I dont want to deal with some project in Olivea who AJ Smith thinks has lost his fire. Get Woody and our line will be set for the next 2 or 3 years.

This would be my dream lineup for next season.

Sign Olivea, Pace, Woody and Moss.

Trade Robertson for two picks and then parlay 1 and Coles for Sheppard. Then trade up a few picks on draft day to take a sliding Phillips (some mock drafts are predicting he will slide into the late first) and take Gholston as well.

    That would give us

    QB: Clemens (or Pennington)
    RB: Jones
    FB: Barnes
    WR: Moss and Cotchery
    TE: Baker
    LT: Ferguson
    LG: Faneca
    C: Mangold
    RG: Olivea
    RT: Woody

    LE: Ellis
    NT: Jenkins
    RE: Coleman
LB: Pace, Harris, Gholston and Thomas
    ILB: Barton and Hobson
    CB: Revis and Sheppard
    SS: Rhodes
    FS: Phillips

    K: Nugent
    P: Draft Pick
    KR/PR: Washington

It will never happen, but it's nice to think about.

Robertson gone, I guess we will be looking at some 3-4 DEs in the draft, otherwise known as 4-3 DTs, I would love a guy like Rubin in the draft, and we sure better get Pace or Draft Gholston at this point

Woolfork gained and Clement lost, good moves, too bad about the Robertson situation, right now with that cap number he isn't worth a 7th
