I agree. Keller will show the most immediate impact, but Lowery might blossom into the best player from this draft. Reading up about him, he sounds alot like Kerry Rhodes, so I think we could see some kind of emergence a year or two from now.
....go to YouTube http://youtube.com/watch?v=28fZ0_-q1bA I still wish the Jets waited for him to drop to the 2nd round, but honestly after watching this guys highlights...I believe the Jets are going to get him 40-50 catches...he has speed & hands for a TE/HBack....
I can honestly say I had never heard of Lowery before we took him I was like "Who?" but after reading up on him, and watching a few highlight films, this kid is my favorite guy we have drafted at this point. I expect the Jets drafting prowess in round 4 to continue...
Dude why would they put Pace at ILB? I think its Gholston right away playing at least half, 2 quarters, of games and Keller who I can't wait to see. I do agree with those of you said Lowry is a dark horse cause he has little competition of guys who have experience opposite Revis.
Also I have no clue if he projects to safety in reality, but if he does, I seriously see him as our FS on opening day, and doing almost exactly what Kerry Rhodes does, pick off passes and hit people hard in run support. Go Dwight Lowery!
not exactly my choice, but if i was a jet wideout, especially a guy like coles with prior concussions from rainbow passes, i'd rather see clemmens or anige back under center instead of noodle arm. no amount of o line spending is going to help if defenses stack the box with 8 or 9 guys. without a live arm who can throw deep and out patterns with zip, the offense will go nowhere.
