Police in Kirkland, the suburban home of the Seahawks' headquarters and practice facility, reported Tatupu registered blood-alcohol levels of .155 and .158 in breath test readings - nearly twice the legal limit in Washington. Don't you believe that. A cop will try to convince you of that, but they will say anything to try to get you to incriminate yourself. Any good lawyer will tell you not to take the test if you know you are going to fail. Just like any good lawyer will tell you to clam up if you get arrested. The cops will give you some old bullshit story about how not talking proves you're guilty, but in a court of law, that's just a bunch of hooey. Trust me on this one. You don't have a right to resist arrest, but it is your right as an American citizen not to talk or take a breath test. Giving up either of those rights is just stupid.

driving drunk is without a doubt extremely stupid, but NJJets is right. If you know you're drunk, refuse to take the breathalyzer.
Its better than being convicted for a DUI/DWI, you still going to jail and you still gonna lose your license for 6months-1year. However you don't have a conviction....thats key. These guys are rich enough to afford drivers, so losing the license isn't a big deal IMO.
