8/22... already pre-ordered it (put down $8.63 at my local gamestop (how much credit i had left in the store, so put it all down) 8/22... my dads birthday. Screw it, i'll be playin Madden all day... sorry dad
I'll stick to my NCAA. It'll end up being a lot better and I will laugh. So much more diversity, and things to do with so many more teams. A lot more fun than playing with the same 32 teams every day.
I, too, prefer NCAA, but will buy both games this year. I haven't really gotten my money's worth with these games since the 1990s because I just don't play them that often anymore. I really liked the NCAA 2006 but I've only played 42 games. Therefore, I spent over a dollar per played game. I play so infrequently that I just leave the default settings on. Well, two weeks ago I bought a new PS2 and began playing the game more often. I quickly mastered All-American level. I slapped USC around 45-10 as Alabama. Kenneth Darby had 43 carries for 343 yards. Now I only play Heisman level, but can't win yet. Right now I am playing Tulane as Oklahoma to try to get my confidence up. I am losing in the 2nd quarter 7-3 because of a 103-yard INT return. Amazingly, I kicked a 43-yard field goal. I'm hit-or-miss with FGs of that length on the default level. Look at these stats so far: 1st downs- Tulane 0, Oklahoma 10 total offense- Tulane 7, Oklahoma 160 time of possession- Tulane 0:57, Oklahoma 5:24 Paul Thompson- 10 of 12 for 43 yards and 1 INT (was 9 of 11 for 21 yards until he completed a 22-yarder) Peterson has 14 rushes for 117 yards and 5 catches for a yard. I love these weird stats that happen in video games.
I'll have to wait for about November I think....BOOOOOOO!!! Going to get it for my PS2 anyway. I want to see how the PS3 thing pans out. Looks like Sony may have shot themselves in the foot this time. Blu-ray???
