At a glance, I didn't see this posted elsewhere...sorry if it is a repeat.

I saw this in an article on the Jets website. I think Mangini is showing himself to be a human being that recognizes the fans are important. While he may have learned his football skills from BB, he certainly seems to recognize that there is a world outside the of the playing field. I think he is a genuine good guy. Maybe he can show that you can be both a good coach and a good person.

Its nice to see some appriciation from the coach. I was there.

The first half was not only brutal on the playing field. But on the Jets side of the field the sun was beating down. It was very hot in 310. After the Pats went up 17-0, I stood up said "Play Some Fucking Defense" and walked outside. Everyone was soo depressed after that half and it resembeled me of last year. I though about leaving but I never actually do.

But I will say I am very glad I sat back down and watched the game. Mangini showed me that he is the real deal. I only wish I was in that locker room during half time. This team came out and played their hearts out in that 2nd half. I give Mangini all the credit in the world for getting this team to make a run like that.

I was one of those fans still there cheering and standing up the whole 2nd half. I lost my voice and got chills watching Chad play the way we have seen him play when healthy. This was easily the most acceptable loss for me in the past few years. Didnt expect a win and just wanted a competive close game. The 2nd half brought that because the Jets played lights out. Every aspect all the way down to the blocked FG.

They simply played their asses off.

I did not make it to the game but one of my friends who is a Pats fan did. It was his first time in the meadowlands and he was impressed by how into the games the Jets fans were.
