    My favorite Jet on offense.

I love his moxxy, fire, decision making and accuracy...Now for me to sit here and say he'll be back and 2002 form would be stupid...But I do hope he can come back and be productive.

What has the guy not done for our franchise, that hasn't earned the upmost respect by fans..The guy is a true leader, who has given his body for our team..I would love for him to come back and make doubters of everyone...

Umm...I guess I vote fan. I really hope he can make it back and perform. That would be great for him and the team. That being said, I don't think he'll ever be back to 100%. I think the best case scenario for him is that he becomes a journeyman/servicable backup. So while I root for him to regain his old form, I still think we need to begin looking in a new direction for the long term.

I just got a vision of Chad being in his mid 30's...in his first superbowl as a backup for a different team, having the winning drive and gettin MVP

wouldn't that be a pretty story for him....

I hope Chad plays at an All Pro level for us till he retires. He has a long road back but he could make it.

Only way Ramsey would ever start over Pennington would be by injury.

Chad is 20 times better than Ramsey on the field.

Too bad he has had an injury problem.

I have the guy's Jersey and I don't want it to be worthless.

With Chad under center I always knew the Jets had the chance to win any game. Never had that feeling with any other QB. I admit the guy is going up against a lot now and I have serious doubts about whether he'll ever come back, but I am certainly rooting for him.

I thought we had a lot of Chad haters on this board.

It must be that people don't believe in him or something

I can't say I care anymore. He is mostly irrelevant to the future of the Jets, at least that is my hope.

I think that alot of people like Chad and understand that you get hurt playing football but they just dont want to put the future of the Jets on his shoulder. We could be having a great year and if he gets hurt it is all over with again.

His successes won't lead the Jets to the Super Bowl, that's why I don't really care. Just not a good fit. I wish it would've worked out, but I can't say I can root for a player who has become a liability to the franchise at this point, and a player they were seriously contemplating to release.

the money wouldn't be a problem if he stayed on the field and performed at the level he was expected to. He's the one who begged his way onto the field with a bum shoulder.
