Thoughts, opinions, updates, videos, etc. Would love to see what this guy could do. Could be a great pickup to play a key role in our defense. He is currently trying out for us this week.
He was a solid CB for the Ravens, would be a good 3rd or 4th CB. Was kind of hoping the Jets would have signed him in the offseason as our dime CB. Plus he knows Rex and hopefully wont take that long to pickup the system. He's probably the best CB available.
He's one of those guys that kinda sucks but works hard, and can just plug in and be ok. Man, I miss Donald Strickland.
Any updates on when exactly he will be working with our defense? Would love to see what happens with this guy. Definitely need to add some depth with Revis out.
Not sure why they don't bring back Strickland or even Drew Coleman, who was actually solid for us his last year. Carr is an ok player, though.
Hopefully the workout goes well and we pick him up. I'd be a heck of a lot more comfortable with Carr in the slot than Ellis Lankster or Isiah Trufant. Kyle Wilson needs to focus on playing on the outside and Carr is a career Nickelback.
I completely agree. I think it would be an awesome signing to bring him in. Could give us that slight edge to slow down the offenses we play and give our offense a shot. I am happy that our organization has noticed our flaws and is targeting them right now. Revis is out, so we go out and get a corner. Greene looks like shit, so we go out and sign a new back. I'm liking the fact that these games have really exposed our issues
If Carr does well, he might earn the nickname "Carr Garage". All jokes aside, I like to see how he will fit into Rex's system.
Living in Maryland I watch a lot of Raven's football and this guy always got burned for 3-4 big passes a game it seemed. All my Ravens friends hated him.
Earlier this year when the Ravens released Carr fans on this Raven forum thread seemed generally disappointed by the move. http://russellstreetreport.com/forum/showthread.php?88164-Ravens-release-Chris-Carr-per-kffl
Wow. I'm reading a lot of love from Baltimore fans when he was there. Seems they were really upset, like stated above, when he was cut. I think the main thing is him staying healthy. If he stays healthy, he seems to be a very good option for us
We're not gonna find a guy like Revis. We're not gonna get a guy that completely eliminates a WR from the opposing core. We need to be blitzing more. If we do blitz more, that's going to allow for those deep shots. All we need is someone who can keep a receiver on his toes and not make it a cakewalk. This guy looks like a great option to have
