"Temporary hiatus from the Bills and their losing ways. (Long Read and Personal)

Last night, fighting back tears of raw hatred for the way our team(QB) have been playing, I took a deep breath and just stared up at the sky as the snow began to fall. I realized that this team really doesn't care about me, you or all of the hard-working and short on luck Bills fans of upstate and WNY and decided I need a hiatus from these boards, the Bills and most certainly the beers. This year was supposed to be the year the Bills made a statement and once again they gave us just enough to sink our teeth into only to spit it out 10 minutes later. There truly are more important things in life, as much as I don't display it, than Buffalo Bills football. I am sure, like you, we have jobs, families, school and other productive things in our lives... my girlfriend was crying uncontrollably after the game and it really hurt to see her like that and I realized that maybe I should focus on taking better care of her, doing better in school and better at my job... quit smoking, workout, and maybe even just not watch the nfl network, espn or inside the nfl anymore. It truly is a beautiful game, football, but it sure does bring the monster out in me at times.

I have a few positive and a few negative points to make before I leave for a while, as I will never give up on the Bills.

    1) Now we have been scrambling over the last few weeks to try and come up with solutions to why our offense has been inept, why our offensive line can't block, why our running backs can't run and why our defense can't stop the "dink and dunk". Well... they all proved to us last night that those problems can be under control with the exception of the long run after catch play. The truth is, it is the play of our second year quarterback, Trent Edwards, he is giving opponents the games in a very charitable fashion. What we see is a grown man who is scared to play football, scared to take risks, and just plain either killing our receivers or under/over throwing balls. He just plain stares down his target and doesn't even go through his progressions anymore. No Lee Evans, need I say more?

    2) O-LINE: I took a stop-watch to the game last night and although probably a little bit inaccurate at times he had sometimes 8-11 seconds to throw the ball and just checked it down for poor gains. He on average had 3-6 seconds to throw the ball and by NFL standards our o-line manned up while Edwards did his best to embarass his entire team. The run blocking was phenomenal and on the Lynch TD to see Jason Peters pushing him into the endzone was a thing of beauty and sheer hustle, amazing job and props to the o-line.

    3) SPECIAL: Leodis McKelvin, what can I say about this kid other than pure unadultered magic! Maybe we just didn't understand his return style. No BS, run it up the field as fast as he can go, and obtain great field position every time... or as we all know, endzone! His coverage skills were very impressive last night as well and he seems to be mirroring McGee very well. We have a superstar.

    4) HEART OF A LION: Marshawn Lynch has more heart and desire than perhaps any player I have seen in person in my life. You could see after we lost the game how upset he was but you could also tell he was a bit proud of the amazing night he had last night. He carried our team and kept us in it at all times. I love this guy.

    5) DEFENSE: Showed up and showed up big. Perry Fewell proved to have some balls last night. He set up some articulate blitzing schemes and provided pressure on the young Quinn all night. He showed press coverage as well which was very surprising. Our defense kept us in it at all times in spite of our offense giving the ball to the Browns in great field position for what seemed like all night. So many big stops and so many crucial pass defenses. I really liked watching this unit play together last night and limiting a very powerful Jamal Lewis. Stroud and Johnson were a treat to watch. Our linebackers were all over the field disrupting plays and McGee definitely seems to be back to true form. He looked god all night.

    6) LEE EVANS: Do you ever feel like these overwhelmigly talented players come here only to see their bright careers and futures die right before their eyes? What the hell are we doing?!?! This guy is the best player on our team and we can't get him the ball one damm time! No reverse, no slants, no fades, no posts, no anythings... this my friends is a travesty.

    7) WILD-CAT: Get rid of that garbage... it's anything but smash-mouth football and is only generating 3 yards a carry... if we do use it... throw! Anyone has to be able to connect with Evans better than Edwards can.

    8) FEWELL: Game ball goes to him in my opinion for keeping us in a game we should have been blown out in.

    9) SCHONERT: Fired for that last series or just running it up the middle instead of getting another first down at least and/or running the clock down to nothing. Horrible game management on his part. Pathetic.

    10) JAURON: This was supposed to be your make or break season, since your "extension" you are 0-4. Thanks buddy. I bet he chuckles to himself on the sidelines and just says "Merry Christmas Bills Fans, your hardwork and undying support are going to have to deal with me for a long long time muahahaha." I don't like dick, won't ever like dick. I don't keep losers around in my real life, I don't see why we should have to deal with this loser in our Bills lives.

Well, to THE SLAMMER... gonna miss ya buddy. No more boards for what seems like to be the both of us. The Buffalo Bills found a way to blow it and ruin a great thing again. I guess either God hates us or we're cursed... either way... that spill over Niagara Falls is looking mighty tempting.

I love all of you guys at these boards and wish you the best for the rest of the season... I am selling my 49ers and Patriots tickets so PM me within the next day or two if you're interested. Probably just a little above face value or the same.

Thank you and always GO MARV, JIM, BRUCE, THURMAN & CREW!"

I know thats long but this is how the GG looked after the Oakland loss. Does this seem ridiculous to you or like me you see how ridiculous this sounds?

I just think it's cool because it's the Bills. Suffer your frozen tears, Canada.

But if the Jets won the Super Bowl...yea, I would be emotional about that.
