I don't know the reason for not being able to edit the titles of threads , but I would welcome the chance to be able to do that.
You can edit titles up to I think 2 minutes after a thread starts. I think allowing thread titles to be editted after that can cause a lot of complications as far as people chaning titles much later on, totally altering the point of the thread.
Less drink would certainly help:wink: No seriously , It would help as sometimes the thread title is misleading or inaccurate. Take my thead yesterday , I wanted to know which players to look for in the game between Oklahoma and 'Bama , but for some reason I put Ohio (????). As soon as I post a topic I go elsewhere as most people would and visit it back later 5+ mins. I don't see how not being able to edit it causes problems. If someone starts to abuse it , we can deal with it , right? Anyhow , just my 2 cents.
Which is all well and good , but often when I'm on here , there are no mods.It would just be easier to do it myself.
