anyone that has this, can you post the article about Abraham and the Falcons? main page, right side, it says Rumor Central: Falcons Considering Abraham
Falcons eyeing Abraham? <Mar. 4> With Abraham's days clearly numbered in New York, the Falcons could be a potential suitor, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports. As expected, the Falcons released veteran defensive end Brady Smith on Friday. However, Atlanta's prospects of acquiring Abraham rest heavily on a new labor deal, which would provide them the salary-cap space to award the type of big-dollar contract Abraham seeks. The disgruntled defensive end has expressed his desire to leave New York, after being designated the team's franchise player for the second consecutive year, and his agent, Tony Ragone, has already begun exploring trade options. "We're exploring other possibilities along with the Jets," Agnone said. "We feel at this point probably that John will not be back in New York." Agnone said the fact-finding hasn't gotten to the stage where they are talking long-term contract with another suitor, but Abraham's other agent, Rich Rosa claims four or five teams have shown serious interest. Denver has been mentioned as a possibility. The Broncos are looking to replace released DE Trevor Pryce, but it's doubtful the team will be able to accommodate Abraham's $8.33 million salary without making another round of cost-cutting moves. Other possibilities include the Redskins and Lions, where Abraham could be reunited with coordinator Donnie Henderson. There ya go.
well whatta ya want me to do, PM 50 people hoping at least one had insider? anyways, thats for the article
Why do you spend money on ESPN's Insider ?? A bunch of crappy rumors is all it is. It even says in the first sentence, "they COULD BE a POTENTIAL suitor."... no shit... so could any team. Who DOESN'T have need for a DE like Abe? The funny part that you don't understand is that if and when it's a legitimate story or confirmed rumor it's on ESPNEWS immediately...
