I am one of them, but I'm prepared for the fact that we WONT get him. If we dont trade up, he will NOT drop to #4 expect that. Vince Youngs stock is droping and his (Cutlers) stock is rising it was expected that Bush, Leinhart and Young would go in the top 3 picks, it is now certain that Cutler WILL be the 2nd QB taken but he probably won't get past #3, that being said if Young is there at 4, do you want him? I dont, I say we get D'Brickashaw Ferguson with this pick if we dont trade up. Any Thoughts?
Nope. Drafting Ferguson puts our best O lineman on the bench, and does nothing to address the MAJOR holes we have on the O line. I'd rather trade down, or draft Hawk or Williams. We can still get a RT ready to start in the second round, and most likely a guard or center that can start right away in the third round too. Then, with the end of third round compensation pick (I hope), get a second tier QB to develop.
Is it good to get a second tier QB as a project? I can't see doing that. Why would you want a lesser talent behind center?
