This was a article about one of my fav WR's Al Toon and his son. It spoke abt Al's concussions and life after football. The most interesting part imo of the article I copied and pasted below. If this was posted I apologize. http://articles.nydailynews.com/2011-10-15/sports/30303682_1_nick-toon-al-toon-larry-grantham/5 Al Toon has been serving on the board of directors of the Green Bay Packers the last couple of years and was presented with a Super Bowl ring. "I would rather have a Jets Super Bowl ring," he says. Maybe the Jets will draft Nick. "That would be very awesome," Nick says. "I would be more than happy and very blessed and fortunate to be on any NFL roster, but to get the opportunity to play for the same team as my dad and possibly end up in New York, I would be very grateful."
Top priority in this draft before WR is: a player who can cover a TE(LB, S, w/e) offensive line mostly RG & LT if not addressed in FA. Toon isn't my #1 WR anyway it's Floyd.
Pass rush(Maybe has some cover ability?) 1st round... Burfict or someone that falls...Or OL but ya WR is not top priority Id rather get a better TE before i worry about WR
Odds are that one of Cromartie's kids will play for the Jets. Just by the shear number alone. Merry Xmas!!!
For me, the highlight of the offseason was some guy calling into Ruocco and Lundberg and asking if Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was one of Antonio Cromartie's sons
cant draft a guy just cause his dad played with the jets, its gotta be because he is actually good and worth it
