Studs Mike White - obvious choice here. Led the NFL in passing yards in this 1st start. 400+ yards and 3 TDs and caught a 2pt conversion. He was smart and took what the defense gave him. Even his 2 INTs were off dropped passes. overall did a really good job. Carter - over 170 toral yards on offense and a TD. was catching the dump offs and making people miss for more yards all day. led the team in rushing and receiving yards and receptions and averaged over 5 YPC ty johnson - 86 total yards and a pretty amazing TD crowder - 8 for 84 yards on 9 targets and threw the 2 pt conversion to white o-line - as a unit they were pretty good. mind you GVR was still bad and mcgovern had an iffy game but AVT was amazing, moses was great, and edoga did a great job when fant went down. Coaching staff/GM - JD went out and signed beck to be a sideline coach and let ML back into the booth to call plays. After a blowout loss to a medicore team, saleh had the guys ready and we upset the 1 seed in the AFC. Not to mention the late game comeback. Some people here complained it was the scheme and wanted them both fired Lawson - came up with our 1st INT on the season in a huge spot. echols - drew the short stick of having to cover chase a lot and did an excellent job on him Probably could pick a few more studs but overall we just had a great game as a team. PFFs top 5 for us were fant, carter II, ty, AVT, and hall. Duds Nobody really stood out as a dud. some were not so great (GVR again) but nobody was outright awful.
Great write up. I might add Elijah Moore just on that chase down of the interception. That hustle play led to the goal line stand which is always a huge momentum swing. Plus he had 6 catches for 67 yards both career highs.
There was an offensive hold on that potential TD anyways. Moore is constantly open, it’s only a matter of time he has a monster game.
I was waiting for this thread, @GasedAndConfused! Finally a week you have plenty of Studs to write about!
I'd add to the studs: Q. - he had a big sack and batted ball on 3rd down to end some drives. The dline as a unit were solid getting pressure all day and held Mixon to only 33 rushing yards. Berrios had some decent returns and got open for a key TD
thanks for the Studs and Duds. I always want to read this every week. Mims chasing back on that interception to stop the TD. That was pretty good as well.
his "double bomb" as saleh called it in his press conference on the TD to berrios was legit. made up for GVR sucking. he blocked GVRs man backwards then ran his own man around white to buy him time
