Obviously, I can't go... But the painting is coming off the wall. The data projector and speakers are ready... Big screen action. Let's go!
12 of my friends and I will be in attendance. Love opening weekend! Planning to go to the Seattle game too.
I usually pick 2 or so games to go to a year. Last year was the first time I went to an opening day and the atmosphere was unlike anything I've ever experienced. The place is like a library some days (when we beat the Jags last year no one made a peep the entire game) but that day is what I imagine a playoff game to feel like. Absolutely electric starting from the moment you walk into the parking lot through all the tailgates and music, then the roar of the crowd when the team (especially Revis) was announced, and the J-E-T-S chant led by Ed on the opening kickoff. 3rd downs were loud and touchdowns louder. When Davis and Pryor helicoptered McCown on the goal line I thought the place was gonna explode. I'm jealous of fan bases like Seattle and KC who get that atmosphere every week, and I'm jealous of you guys who get to go Sunday. Have a great time and scream your lungs out for those of us who can only yell at the TV.
Fuckin right man. I've been watching fuckin' House Hunters all offseason to build up rapport with the woman. I'm about to go off my gourd. Thank god it's now time to do what men do best and watch football and get drunk. Can't take another of those damn shows
203 b here. Haven't been to an opening day since our home opener vs the pats when Rex was our rookie HC. I doubt I'll ever go to a game as crazy / loud as that one but this should be a very good game Sunday .
Also my friend who I got the seats has season pass and all he gave me was this card on a lanyard with the seat info and it says rewards card. Is that really all you need to get in ?
Be there with my daughter. Can't wait. So looking forward to the tailgate. Weather supposed to be good. Bengals will loose. Rolling in my truck on the way home listening to 4th qtr then post game...life is good
There is nothing like opening day, nothing compares. Can't wait! I'll be heading up to Buffalo only 3 days later so it's going to be a whirlwind week of football. Hoping to wash away the taste of week 17. Everybody have fun and be safe, opening day is more exciting than Christmas to me, probably my favorite day of the year.
We mostly leave early to avoid the scrum that forms trying to leave the stadium after the game. No disrespect to our team. When we played the Pats and beat them last season we truly enjoyed staying and re- tailgating with our fellow Jet fans. Look forward to doing that again this season!
Pumped! Sunday Morning can't get here soon enough, I can't concentrate on anything else its killing me! Everybody enjoy, really hoping we get a win.
