On a 5,000 yard pace with a bunch of no-name receivers, Rex and Mike better fix the secondary in 5 days.
If the Jets score 1st, they'll control the clock all day. They are missing 5 starters on defense. I'll take a shootout if it comes to that. Our defense makes plays if its not 3rd and 13+
Why didn't I read the OP. Dude, you really think he's going to light up this team? Drew Colemans Dad has a name for people who think this way. Just ask Peter King.
Yeah, he's diesel. I can't figure out what the fuck is going on in Denver. Kyle Orton and Brandon Lloyd are superstars. Wha....? ADDED: I really, really don't like Josh McDaniels, but I have a tough time believing any other coach could have squeezed so much juice out of lemons like Matt Cassel, Kyle Orton, Brandon Lloyd or Jabar Gaffney. The dude knows how to coach a passing attack. As for the ground game...
And somehow they're 2-3. We go in there, and play our game, it should be over sometime in the 3rd quarter. Let Marino, ahem, I mean Orton throw for his 300 plus.
If you don't follow the NFL closely, then yeah they are no-names. Denver has trouble running the ball and Orton is not as good against the blitz as Brett Favre. You add it all up and the smart money is that Orton won't have another Elvis Grbac Game. E.G.G.- lots o' yards in a loss with many being of the meaningless variety compiled in garbage time. I don't see 350+ yards from Orton. He'll probably be below 300 and will get sacked several times.
Once Orton figured out Baltimore in the second half he started teeing off. That said, their defense is poor.
I'd be more concerned about the west coast trip on a short week than about Orton himself. There's a very good chance we don't see Moreno OR Thomas, in addition to the players who have already been ruled out for the game.
