the same guy who dropped pass after pass yesterday is the same guy who was complaining about practice being to hard a few years ago. people still give this guy respect for being a good reciever. he's average. he never makes the great catch, he doesnt even always make the easy ones anymore.

He actually was very good. The injuries have taken their toll. He's nowhere near as good as he was just a couple of years ago. He's still going to finish with 900 catches though is my guess. Not sure where he'll end up.

Coles was a good WR, unfortunately for us he is no longer even a decent WR. He needs to be cut in the offseason.

I expect he'll get cut if a new regime comes in. The injury last year seems to have been the straw that turned him from very good to average.

We'd still have to pay him the guaranteed 5 million we signed him to this past offseason. Better to keep him around as a slot receiver.

Yeah, he'll go to Miami and put up 1600 yards and 15 TDs.

Agreed. We need a true #1. Coles would be fine as a #3. Oh, wait, Coles would never buy into this in a million years.

Depends on how effective he can be. The Jets no longer throw the crossers to him, probably because he has had multiple concussions and the NFL is cracking down on teams that have too many problems with that issue.

He was most effective on the slants, where his toughness let him hold onto the ball and his speed gave him decent YAC on them.

He doesn't have a choice. His contract is guaranteed. We pay him either way. Unless he opts out, he will be on the team next year.

Coles isnt a bad player. But he is a number 2 WR and since we have Cotchery for that role, Coles has to go. They need to replace him with a Tall WR that can stretch the field and make opposing Defenses game plan for him. The only guy on the FA market I see is Houshmanzada. They might have to adress that need via trade or the draft.

hahah remember all that shit...people STILL love him. Unreal. Ii hate him and thats just because he sucks. Let alone the fact that hes a big mouth malcontent and as far from a team guy as you can find.

Houshmandzadeh isn't tall or fast. He's a #2 WR just like Cotch and Stuckey.
