Either Vincent Jackson or Dwayne Bowe. This will if anything, eliminate another scapegoat for Sanchez. Ofcourse Plaxico is gone...he's old anyways and cant get open between the 20's. Let's cut it out with the Peyton Manning talks. The Jets have to be invested in the "Sanchize" to at least start in 2012. We'll bring in a legit backup, probably a Chad Henne or David Carr. Personally, I'm hoping for Jason Campbell...a guy who I think would be a great fit in our offense. I'm not a Sanchez guy whatsoever. I don't know what the Jet scouts seen in 16 games of college ball? He still stares down receivers, looks at the rush rather than downfield, and the fact that a talent like Santonio Holmes has gone 25 or 26 straight games w/out a 100 yard rec game says something. We'll looking at 4 or 5 new starters on defense as well. Let's be aggressive this offseason Tannenbaum!!!!

I don't mind when people start threads with stupid ideas so much.

But when people are too lazy to realize to understand the cap situation doesn't allow some of these absurd picks, its just ridiculous.

    I envisage him signing:

    - Jason Campbell or Chad Henne

    - A new punter

    - Dwight Lowery at Safety

    - Some low level FA offensive lineman for depth

    - Braylon Edwards

    And that's about it.

    Id add in Matt Moore.

I definitely see him walking when Miami brings in Flynn or Peyton, and hopefully Sparano has the inside track on grabbing him.

I think Lowery coming back is incredibly doubtful. You dont often see a guy get traded and come back to his team immediately following that season

Campbell yes, Henne no. And as much as we want braylon back, it isn't going to happen. We'll end up drafted a WR or two. Also, I highly doubt lowery will come back after we traded him.

This offseason will be centered around the draft methinks. Other than an inquiry to Braylon, a punter and a backup QB I'd be surprised to see us making moves. Then again, we thought the same after 09 and 10.

    I'm seeing:

    Carl Nicks
    Mario Williams
    Vincent Jackson
    D'Qwell Jackson
    Tyvon Branch
    Jared Gaither

They are all in Jet Green and White next season. Super Bowl 2013!!!!!!!

And because we fixed all our needs in FA we pool up all our draft picks and trade with the Colts and take Andrew Luck!!!!

I was just joking with Lowery :) the rest is probably about right though. I dont think we will see any major FA signings (and in fact I hope we dont)

I see the NYJETS pulling off a draft day trade. Signing Henne,Edwards or Garcon a free agent LB or Safety or both.

Yea draft will depend on free agency. I see 4 needs: receiver, safety, linebacker/pash rusher, right tackle. Think we will fill 2 of those holes in free agency and use the first 2 rounds in the draft to fill the other two holes.

Maybe Tyler Branch. Cap space dictates additional moves.

Lowery doesnt have to be a joke. He'd be a good signing for this team.

Familiar with the D, our players, knows the playbook, and shouldnt be too much.

    Henne?

I seriously hope Mr. T is not considering Henne. He was Sporano's starting QB. Sparano is our offensive coordinator now. Hello quarterback controversy?!? It's a terrible idea. And Henne isn't good. Might as well call Testaverde. :pats_suck
