15-10 game. Colts getting the ball, but instead of Painter coming in, Manning stays in. Do the Jets get the lead with Manning in there, or does Manning tear us up?
It was a pretty tight game but Manning was just off on a few passes that would have made a big difference if he had hit them. I think our D would have kept it close but would the offense have been able to keep up?
I didn't put a lot of thought behind my 30% vote as far as accuracy, but the score didn't really reflect how badly the Jets were playing against Manning and that offense on Sunday. I think there was a chance that the Jets pulled it out, but it was slim, unless they really picked things up. We got a gift.
Manning probably would have gotten rid of the ball before then. But yeah, I would have loved to see him get wrecked.
10% you can't possibly tell me a 15-10 game is over. Manning is still human even though it doesn't seem like it. Things can happen If Dallas can win in New Orleans which was deemed impossible by Tank then anything can happen. Then you see the Bucs beat them...HAHA!
I think it was 50/50 after Brad Smith's KR for a TD. Yes, Manning could have lit up the Jets at that point for 3 TD's in the 2nd half but a repeat of the first half was more likely. The Jets on the other hand have had several halftime revivals on offense this year.
I'm talking after Manning's last drive when he went right down on the field on us. 15-10. At 10-9, I agreed with you, or I was close to that, but that Colts drive disheartened me.
Even if Manning would have gotten rid of the ball before then, that hit would have then ensured he would have been taken out, so the end result is Jets still win. I honestly believe this whole thing is being blown way out of proportion by the media and the Jets were going to win that game. The game was close and the Colts had the lead when Manning left, who played 2/3 of the game. But in the end the Jets ran it down their throats in the 4th quarter. Nothing to do with Manning, Wayne, Addai or Freeney for that matter not being in the game.
I would say 30-40 area sounds right. Even though Manning had a relatively easy drive to start the 2nd half the Jets D adjusts well and I do not think he was going to gash them. I think the Jets offense would have been pretty good at chewing up time as their running game was starting to gain nice chunks of yardage......... really tough to answer, I would lean to the Jets losing though.
No chance is actually impossible (except for Francessa) I said 30%... They were keeping it close and they found their running game toward the end of the first half... I felt that they definitely had a legitimate chance to win..
The Colts scored on their second drive of the game and then got shut down for the rest of the first half. I would have expected similar things after the TD drive in the second half also. That might be optimistic, given the Jet's propensity to have wild second halfs this year, but I thought they had a good shot at a win even after the Colt's drive.
Gave 'em a solid 30%. The game was close but the Colts have played in a lot of close games this year where they pulled it off in the end. I think that's what we were looking at on Sunday.
50%. It was a one score game. One big play in either direction could have decided it. Just because the Colts were undefeated does not mean that they were pre-ordained to win the game. Any fuckin given Sunday. Everybody knows that. Francessa needs to go fuck himself. Biggest idiot on radio. :jets:
