Just a Bills fan here, giving my take on the game today....The first thing im going to say is...Dump pennington...he looks horrible...he has pretty much, single handedly, givin your team 2 losses in a row...with game changing INT's....Today it was apperant just how weak penningtons arm really is....those passes were not only ill advised, but looked like wounded ducks....I think its time to let the young gun loose....someone who can stretch the field a little bit... The Defense didnt look too bad today...they looked a lot more aggressive than they did last week...but all and all, i think most of the blame for this loss is on pennington, and some on dyson....man, i cant believe he let plaxico break free down the sideline...any way, hope the injuries werent too severe...and good look with clemens
Auggy, I think the defense looked lek sit, they are more responsble for the losses than Penington.....every tam in te damn league will pound te bll down our throats.....Chad screwed up big time twice, and needs to either have the blls to thrw the ball down the field or else pull himself...also, is sarts and strong decisin making were nohere to be found after the TD pass Why he would try to throw a touch pass while stepping backwards is beyond me, thats the sort of mistake a high school QB makes..... anyways, the dfense is the reason this team is shit.....I hpe Mangini has let them know that.....although his adherence to the 3-4 is just as much to blame.
As bad as the defense can be, and as good as kick returns are, it really tires out a defense. After the offense scores, then we return a kick, the defense is right back out there. I'm not saying we shouldn't return the kicks, as anemic as this offense is, I'm just saying the defense was out their an eternity today. Part of that is not being able to get three and outs. But I think the 3-4 scheme tires a team out a lot more then the 4-3, if you don't sub enough which we don't, because we don't have the horses.
What, nobody's all that interested in your man-crush on Trent Edwards on the Bills boards, so you come over here and try to start the same manure on the Jets board? I think most of the Jets fans know what their team's problems are, and they probably are smarter than someone who is always looking to make somebody a scapegoat. I didn't see Pennington on the field when the Gints went 98-99 yards to score. BTW, since your sweetie, Trent, hasn't shown that he can successfully throw the long ball either, he may end up looking just like Chad. Then what? Oh, yeah, throw him under the bus!
