Hey .. i just joined and im excited to be part of the GangGreen Family in my opinion, even though the Jets are supposed to be in "rebuilding mode" .. i dont think we are goin to be picking during the top 10 in the draft next year. Defensively, we still have a superb defense even without Ty Law and without a Tru NOse DT .. all we need in D is Depth. On offense i say we still have a solid team. we just need the LIne other than that, we are pretty good. Hopefully Chad preforms but if not, there is something bout Ramsey that makes me think he can preform for us well. Curtis still is pretty good and with the emergance of Houston we are pretty secured in that area
welcome to the board. Dont get too hyped, the jets might make it to the super bowl but it is highly unlikely. I like what the FO is doing but that is still a lot of holes and ?'s on this tream.
i think that if we do the right things in the draft, and maybe pickup 2 more solid fa's(cb,nt, rt,c), we have a good shot at being over .500....our scheduale looks awfully easy, but that could change as teams improve it all hinges on our stability at the qb position....if ramsey or chad can step up and do a solid job, i feel that our team can make a playoff run
Might be .500? 2006 will be our year. We were practically 8-8 last year (SD, NO, Jax, MIA) with an injury crippled roster and an idiot at HC. We are making vast improvements and if we stay healthy, 06 is the jets year.
good teams win those games...we were not good last year, football is a game of inches, and good teams win the close ones, bad teams find a way to lose them that said, last year was a disastorous, freak year....we def have a good shot at making a playoff run this year if we make some key additions in fa and the draft, i like our core of players we have now

ok, WITH Chad @ 100%, i say we have a decent chance of CONTENDING, anything less, we will be picking in the top 10 again next april
