On NFL live , Kimberly Jones reporting from Jets facility says that Jets players are wondering if Tebow really got a fair shot or not....stay tuned... queue the circus music...it never ends ...
obviously not. i mean even the biggest tebow hater can see that he wasnt given a fair shake. Sanchez played the QB position as poorly as it can be played this year, and tebow didnt even get a full series. they never intended to use him.
Actually, he got one series on Monday Night, but it seems like even the die hard hater is now feeling sorry for him.
Media flies love this kind of sh*t. They will hove around Jets 24X7 nonstop to make it as drama as possible. Jets will pay heavily for this bad publicity among current and future NFL players.
Its very fair that McElroy is to start over him because Tebow could not run a conventional offense and rex does not want the offense changed. What is bullshit is the lying and evasion from Rex. AND it doesn't change the fact you would be in the playoffs if Jets had switched to Tebow earlier and simply let him run around and make plays in the 4th quarter like he did in Denver. Rex stubbornness blew the season up that is also unfair (to Jets fans).
Honestly, the NFL isn't fair to anyone, if you are not a bonafid superstar and an insane contract it is kind of shitty job. Not much job security.
i tend to put the blame more on the guy leading the league in turnovers then the guy who isnt allowed to play
I disagree. We don't know how Tebow would do seeing as how we haven't seen him at the helm of the first string running that offense. Who knows, maybe he would have done ok with it. That said, zd someone else pointed OUT, life (and the NFL) aren't fair. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
Oh my.... I'm guessing those guys weren't some of the ones interviewed by the NY Daily News a month ago in the article with anonymous quotes ripping Tebow.... Yesterday before Rex named McElroy the starter for this Sunday, there were some comments that Rex hadn't made his decision yet because he was worried about the public perception of jumping McElroy over Tebow from deactivated to being the starter, was worried about a backlash. Well Rexy, you nailed it! You think he thought there would be any kind of a backlash in his locker room? I think I've seen more stories sympathetic to Tebow from the NFL and sports media at large in the last 24 hours than I've seen in the whole rest of the time since he was drafted in 2010! And these aren't outlets who are known for writing positive things about Tebow. I've also seen a ton of comments in the last 24 hours from NFL fans who aren't Tebow supporters who say they feel sorry for the guy and think he was lied to and screwed over by Rex and the Jets. Good job, Rex!
Hey Harts24 whatever gets you to post man, 111 post in 6 years is fairly weak so I am glad Tebow helped you out in that regard . Keep the faith man , a Superbowl win is right around the corner for you....
You have to be his mom . ma'am, I wished him well and he made a lot of money, he was more successful than most people on this earth (even banged Kate upton) but its best to let him go on and be an analyst or maybe backup kaepernick (harbaugh can "alex smith" him and revive his career, I am not even joking when Smith leaves watch Sanchez take over as back up ) .
Funny considering a lot of the Guys in the locker room basically said he sucked Anonymously of course
