By now everyone has heard that were getting sued by those fags to the north (New England). This is new to me, I can't remember us ever getting sued before, I guess this makes us the new "Bad Boys", I like the sound of that. Hopefully this lights a fire under our guys and we come out and play with a big chip on our shoulder against N.E. this weekend!!
Now all we need is for Vilma to stab someone in a limo, Coles to hit a traffic cop with his car, and for Blaylock to conspire a drug deal but not actually go through with it. Oh, and some sort of party, perhaps on a boat.
I really don't think it will make a difference to the players. They will already be stoked coming off a win on the road and coming to play in their home opener. If anything it might pump the Jets fans up even more.
I vote for this as "Thread Of The Year." Self-appointed "Bad Boys" tag, homophobia use over tampering, and correlation between front office matters and on the field play with the epic "big chip on our shoulder." All we need now is a theme song and we got ourselves a genuine winner! Rock on!! :beer:

Trust me no one in the Jets camp is losing sleep over any tampering charges, Its a way for the Patriots to spin the loss of Branch onto someone else to minimalize their screw up..its classic Pats BS..most Pats fans will see thru that crap and place the blame where it belongs..on Belly and Pioli

Tampering charge or not these two franchises are already linked based on past off the field issues and the constant movement of players and coaches between them. I'm sure the FO knows when you poke your nose into a bitter rivals contract squabble that there was going to be some kind of reaction from the "Evil Empire". This won't be the last of the off field shenanigans either. It's kind of fun. It's time to start beating "The Evil Empire to the North". I'm not sure this team is ready to do so just yet because we have seen the Pats overcome adversity, improvise and adjust time and time again and just keep on winning but we shall see. A win here would be instant credibility for the new program and would open eyes around the league and make alot of fence sitters like me believers in the new regime.
If you look at BB's pattern, this tamperiong thing is completely contradictory to everything he preaches. He usually doesn't want anybody saying anything or doing anything to provoke the opposition. Kraft kinda went against BB on this one I think.
Tampering charges provoking the jets.....r-i-g-h-t <_<. This is not something you put on the bulletin board folks. No player gives a damn about the charges. We are going to be fired up because its an inner division game vs. the pats. That in itself is enough.

I posted this thread for people to have fun w/, not to take it literally. Its kind of neat to think of us in the bad boy role after years of trying to keep a sqeeky clean image (I remember last year Curtis Martin was asked to be a guest on the Jim Rome show, the front office would not let him because according to them the Jets players do not do negative interviews and they were afraid Rome would be too pessimistic and focus on the bad things the Jets and Curtis were going through last year).
