Not really a big deal if he's on the 15. That's a few starts and it gives the Yanks an extra spot while he rests.... Although the exact injury Joba Chamberlain suffered is unclear, the Yankees are placing their young pitcher on the 15-day disabled list, according to the New York Times. Earlier in the day, while reporting Chris Britton was recalled from Class AAA, the New York Post speculated Chamberlain was headed to the disabled list. Chamberlain returned to New York for tests on his shoulder Tuesday. The team said before its game against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday that it would not reveal the results of the MRI exam until Chamberlain is seen by James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala., today. Chamberlain was removed from Monday night's start against the Texas Rangers in the fifth inning with what the club announced was a stiff right shoulder.
