Yeah, I heard this the other day. It made me wonder if he is one step from being cut or if they really think he could do it. It reminded me of all the glowing compliments that Rex gave Gholston over the summer.

Good article, would be interesting to see him play at CB.

By 'recent' weekday press conference is he still referring to that one from around two weeks ago or did Rex bring it up again?

Mr. McKnight is one of the most gifted athletes that I've ever seen when watching high school prospect film.

(* It's too bad that doesn't always translate over to the college or pro game. I believe he's got the ability to be a hell of a player in this league though. He just has to get his head right.)

He did look much better in those last carries he got in garbage time a game ago (or was it two)... and I'm a McKnight "hater"...

I think next season he'll be able to contribute as a 3rd down back.

Yeah, we heard this a couple of weeks ago.

Cacciola just got around to writing about it? Must be a slow news week.

I think he might show up after the bye week. I'm not saying he'll put up huge numbers or even make an impact, but he'll more than likely get PT against Detroit and Cleveland.

BTW, what is with all the "Mr." in that article? MR Ryan, Mr smith, Mr McKnight, Mr Thurman, Mr Curtis...how old is this guy Cacciola writing this? He writes like he is in JR High School.

I could see this, but the last thing we need is more depth at CB.

Would not mind seeing him get some Garbage time as a CB in some of the easier games if we are up by a bit. Could be interesting.

Saying that though, its taking Wilson long enough to adjust to the NFL and he is a highly rated College CB so what chance does a College RB have of turning it on .

My God, he averaged 22 yards per touch in HS, that is insane. lol

I would love to see some of those highlights.

If every coach he's had says he can play it after playing it in HS, then he probably could play it, but if he made the switch he'd be two years from seeing the field. It'd be foolish to think he'd just switch positions and all of the sudden he'd be productive.

He's a RB. He might Troy Brown this bitch later in his career.

And I like how the WSJ is a few week behind.

That's how WSJ rolls, I can't stand it. Once all of the "Mr." started I couldn't read anymore. Plus it seems like the same article we read a couple weeks ago.

I hope that happens... especially if we are up by a decent margin and he starts getting some of LTs carries... I want him (LT) fresh for the playoffs.
