Here's a fun offseason story. Darron Lee was creeping on a girl at a music festival and Leo pulled him off of her and basically manhandled him. Good job by Leo, but between his Twitter account, whatever the hell happened in that street incident a few months back and now this, I'm starting to think Lee is a head case. He was going off on Jets fans all over twitter yesterday for suggesting he didn't play well last year, throwing out his leg as an excuse repeatedly and saying he'd light it up this year. Going out and doing this a couple hours later isn't a good look.

That's exactly what I'd expect from a player who's expected to be a team leader! Kudos LW! Keeping your teammate out of trouble was righteous!
Wtf does "creeping on a girl" even mean during this situation? We'll need a full story because right now i don't have a fkn clue what really hqppened. Anything else is speculation. Hopefully Leo wasn't in his feelings or jealous that Lee was trying to talk to a girl in which Leo himself liked. Because if so, he was in the wrong. You don't physically put your hands on a teammate or friend... over a girl. But then again. All i can do is assume. Because I have no idea what really happened. Credit goes to Leo if he really did take Lee out of a potential bad situation.
“I saw [Lee] shouting at a woman, mid-argument. He then started to manhandle her and call her names. Idk if they knew each other…. It took 3/4 guys to get him to go away… the guy was big and aggressive. Anyway he went away and basically did a big loop, then came back and grabbed the woman as soon as people had dispersed. Started dragging her away with him. She was obviously shaken and in tears… Security came and went. [Lee] came back only this time he was confronted with the biggest person I’ve ever seen in my life [Williams]. [Lee] was trying to get to the woman but [Williams] was just in the way. So calm just like you’re not getting through. Then [Lee] started squaring up and threatening [Williams] trying to start a fight. [Williams] just blocked him. [Lee] tries to push him out of the way. Bad move stepping up to an NFL defensive end tbh. [Williams] literally picks him up and carries him 10 feet backwards like he’s a Costco shop…… [Lee] was big and clearly on something.”
So Lee physically manhandled a girl? Where is the video footage at? This is something I'd need to see with my own eyes. Sounds like liquor was involved to me but nonetheless as a man and as a father to a girl myself; you are to never physically hurt a woman by putting your hands on her. If this story is true. Well then I've lost a great deal of respect for Lee as a person and gained a lot more respect for Leo as a man off the field. If Lee at the age of only 22 is going to get drunk and become violent towards girls at a freaking club? Well then A.) He needs help with his drinking problem (yes. A problem) and B.) Should not be going out clubbing to begun with. I'm 32 years of age. Me and my friends from 18/mid 20's would go out to clubs and mingle with the girlies all the time. Damn near every wknd. But none of my friends. No matter how drunk. Ever "manhandled a girl". That. Just isn't normal.
Hmm the bad character screen didn't work for Lee then, WTF to go back three times and try to manhandle a woman, seriously in the wrong on many levels. Well played the big fella for probably saving a bigger incident but then again how will that affect team morale between the pair of them and if they have separate camps of friends ?
Before making stupid remarks why not try reading a few of the articles on the subject? You "don't have a fkn clue what really hqppened" but some of us read the stories to know that Williams didn't, "physically put hands on a teammate or friend... over a girl.", he kept Lee from a situation that could have been horrendous.
Most Likely Scenario: - I'd say Lee had preexisting carnal knowledge of said female. - Some type of altercation ensued, based on reports it sounds all verbal. - While in an alcohol induced state of frustration he was trying to make a point, ask a question, have a conversation. - The female most likely was also saturated in alcohol wanted no part of this. - Lee wouldn't let it go... In comes the Big Cat. After seeing enough of this go on and realizing Lee is going to persist until this situation escalates, he intervenes. Kudos to him for not allowing it to go any further than it did. Based on what we currently know and if nothing else comes out about this it doesn't give me any different opinion on Lee what so ever. Young guy that probably took something a bit too far but in the end nothing happened. The story to take away is this makes me like and respect Leo more than I already did which I wasn't sure if that was possible. Funny video watching Big Cat scoop up Lee but there's no story here, moving on. Go Jets!
Good leadership shown by Williams in this case. I'm expecting big strides out of Lee this coming season so he needs to stay out of trouble.
What do you mean he was "creeping" on a girl? I've never heard the word "creeping" used in a context other than "sneaking up" on someone. In the video all we see is Williams carrying someone (Lee) backwards.
I think it's funny that this guy new Leo was an NFL player but thought Lee was just some random big guy. He could definitely stand to gain a few pounds
