I am looking to attend a Jets game sometime in the near future. I have been a fan for well over 20 years and would really like to see my team play right in front of me. I have never been to a NYJ game and am totally interested. My question to you fellow fans... are tickets hard to come by? What do the ticket prices run for a single game? I appreciate anyone with information that could help me. I looked for tickets this past season and I could not smell any unless I went on StubHub and wanted to pay a radical amount. I guess I can bring my wife along too even though she is a Dallas fan. Perhaps I can convert her someday.
Go to the M/lands & you can always get tix on game day. If you wait till after the KO you can usually secure them at less then face value also
http://www.newyorkjets.com/game/ticketinfo/ Sign up for the waiting list and buy tickets from the TicketExchange.
There is a section in this message board. People are always selling tickets to games. More often than not face.
Usually you can get a game in the middle of the season for a face value price. It also is a supply/demand type thing. Certain games. Pats, Fish are harder to come by than say a Buffalo Bills game in November if you catch my drift. At the end of the 2007 season, I sold 4 seats to the Chiefs/Jets game for $25 each. No one wanted them otherwise. Usually a ticket costs in the $80 and up. Middle of the field in either the uppers or lowers is a good seat. Upper endzones aren't bad. Like watching Madden. Lower endzones are harder to see the other side of the field. Great in your end though.
Ask again in August. I have two extras that I sell for just about every game, and for you I will give you a good price! ; ) Seriously, face value only. I wasn't a member here last season, so next year I'll check in the tickets thread if I have games available.
If it's your first game, try a CHEAP preseason game. You can almost get the tickets for free and the experience isn't bad. It will also give you some great insight to the stadium seating, etc, so you can pick and choose for the regular season. When at the preseason, try to network and you may get lucky with fans who have reg season tickets they often sell. Stay away from the last game (#4) as it's usually useless. The Jets/Giants preseason is usually a great game as starters may play into the 3rd quarter.
I've seen on the websites its not that hard to get tickets, but just wanted to share that this past year, I went to my first 2 Jets games ever and had the time of my life (it helped that the games were the Cardinals and Bengals games). I'm hoping to bring my wife to a game or 2 next season. Good luck getting tickets. It's a fantastic (no pun intended) time.
i usually have 1 or 2 available, for each game. Best seats you'll ever sit in, sec111, rows 2&3, on about the 45yd. Right behind the Jets bench. Keep that in mind for next season. Just shoot me an e-mail, and i'll let you know how many i have.
I have a shitty memory and wont remember this when the time comes, so I hope you advertise (in pretty much these words) on the site during the season so I can jump on this. Lucky man.
I'm sure he wants to drive from Reading PA to East Rutherford NJ to miss kickoff and scrounge around the parking lot talking to scalpers.
