Beamen is falling down on the job here.

Park with a suprisingly strong first inning, followed by Delgado and Wright being their usually rally killing selves.

Haha.... My bad guys.... That was pretty typical of the 2007 versions of Wright and Delgado..... Really starting to bother me

I'm amazed at how Beamen let it get to now!

This (Delgado and Wright) is the kind of crap that has to stop now. For all of the talk of how the starting pitching is vulnerable, the team is old, etc., these two guys have killed so many rallies it is beyond belief.

Something is definitely wrong with Wright's concentration. Too much celebrity status.

Did you folks hear how the Braves put Wickman on the DL? The Mets need to put some room between themselves and the Braves right now.

Park has been a pleasant surprise so far. If he can last even 5 innings pitching like this I'll be very, very pleased

EDIT: So long as we don't use Heilman in relief thereafter

I didn't hear that but I did happen to catch him blowing the game against the Rockies yesterday. After they took him out they kept showing him in the dugout and he always had this deranged looking smile on his face while he stared off into space. It was like the look Jumbo Elliot had staring up at the replay of him catching the TD pass, except it went on for about 5 minutes straight.

I don't think Wickman is all that good so I'm not sure how much this will actually hurt the Braves.

Hell, even if it means they drop one game they wouldnt have, it helps us a lot. It looks like it's gonna go down to the wire in the division this year I'll take any edge I can get

Park was looking great for 8 batters, but now he's getting himself into trouble.

8 straight balls and now Cabrera comes up with the bases loaded.

Maybe this is why he had a 7.3 ERA in the minors?

And now Easley screws up the line drive, and it's 2-0. The two guys on the DL just cost the Mets two runs.

miserable job by Park, but still 3 unearned runs for the Marlins this inning after 2 outs and none on with the pitcher coming up.

And now Reyes screws up the popup big time. How the hell could Reyes not let Beltran take that?

This is looking like a very ugly game.

The line drive was ruled a double, so all of the runs are earned. I'm okay with that, since Park deserves to be charged for this horrid performance.

Wow, 5 runs, and every ball was a pop fly. I think I'll be turning this off now.
